3.15 Brighton – STINTINO SUNSET (1pt win – 7/2 bet365)
STINTINO SUNSET came from further back than ideal when third at Epsom last time where the winner and runner-up were in the first two throughout. The Julia and Shelley Birkett-trained five-year-old has been found a weak race and the only last time out winner in opposition – ANGEL ON HIGH – looks vulnerable. He was all out to score at Leicester last time after enjoying the run of the race and his two previous wins were both followed by defeats.
7.30 Chepstow – BELIEVE YOU ME (1.5pt win – 3/1 bet365)
Heather Main’s BELIEVE YOU ME has form figures at Chepstow of 12118024 (3-8), improving to 1211 (3-4) in Class 6 company and she drops to that level after running fourth of 13 in a Class 4 Racing League contest over course and distance on August 7th. The five-year-old has yet to score outside the month of July but that latest run- just 12 days ago – suggests that she’s capable of running to form at this time of year and she’s worth a bet.
