Andrew Mount recommended a double for GG readers on Tuesday, continuing his fantastic start to the week. Read on to find his two best bets for Wednesday as he looks to keep the run going at Worcester and Kempton.

1.00 Worcester – WADE OUT (1pt win – 11/2 Paddy Power, 5/1 generally)
With PIC ROC having won just once from 14 starts, including form figures over fences of F220P6 (0-6), there looks to be value elsewhere in this 2m4f beginners’ chase. WENDIGO, on offer as the 4-6 favourite at the time of writing, is the obvious one after his runner-up effort to The New Lion in last season’s Grade 1 Challow Hurdle at Newbury and his 16-1 fifth of 20 in the Albert Bartlett at the Cheltenham festival. Jamie Snowden’s six-year-old is clearly an exciting chasing prospect but he weas beaten on his point-to-point, bumper and hurdles debut and can see him completing the full set on his Rules chase debut. I’d rather take a chance on Olly Murphy’s WADE OUT who took his record below Graded level, including his point-to-point tun, to 111211 (5-6) when defying 12 stone in a Wetherby novices’ hurdle in late February. He’s rated 16lb inferior to Wendigo (they all carry 11-05 today) but, in contrast to that rival, he won on his point, bumper and hurdles debuts and looks the value.
6.10 Kempton – DRYBURGH (1pt win – 10/1 bet365)
DRYBURGH completely bombed out when 15-8 second favourite for a 1m nursery at Newcastle last time, finishing a 21-length last of the five runners but he had excuses. Jane Chapple-Hyam’s New Bay colt raced keenly in the lead under 7lb claimer Alexandra Egan and shot clear into the strong headwind after three furlongs before weakening quickly just over a furlong out. Two horses were ridden patiently that day, finishing one-two, and it’s safe to ignore Dryburgh’s effort on account of the track bias. He’d been progressing steadily in maiden/novice company prior to that handicap debut run, recording Racing Post Ratings of 54, 66 and 71 and can be backed to resume his progression with Billy Loughnane taking over in the saddle.
