Andrew Mount enjoyed a fine start to the week with 8/1 and 5/1 winners on Monday and looks to keep rolling through the week with three best bets on Wednesday.

3.00 Chepstow – THE KEMBLE BREWERY (1pt win – 9/4 bet365)
THE KEMBLE BREWERY has form figures on his seasonal debuts of 111 (3-3) and, while the officially good ground might be quicker than ideal, I’m relying on his trainers (Kim Bailey and Mat Nicholls) to scratch him if necessary, as they did when he was due to reappear here last month. The six-year-old son of Blue Bresil looks likely to improve for the switch to fences and his yard’s break returners do well at this time of year. The wind operation is another positive angle, with the chasers landing 14 of their 54 starts immediately following wind surgery for a profit of £12.44 to a £1 level stake at SP (+£20.51 at Betfair SP after 2% comm).
3.45 Nottingham – GIRLS NIGHT OUT (1pt win – 9/2 bet365, 100/30 William Hill)
Owen Burrows has his first ever runner in an amateur riders’ race in this 1m6f handicap in the shape of GIRLS NIGHT OUT, the mount of Brodie Hampson. The three-year-old caught the eye at Epsom last time when a best-of-the-closers third to Sir Mark Prescott’s Night Tara in a 1m4f handicap on soft ground. The winner (who was always up with the pace) let the form down the next twice but the runner-up (WIN 7-4), fourth (2nd of 15, beaten by a neck at 12-1) and fifth (WON 3-1) have all boosted the race. Brodie Hampson is often the jockey to follow in these races and her full record in turf contests over 1m2f or further stands at 33 winners from 188 rides (17.6%) for a profit of £45.13 to a £1 level stake at SP (+£104.02 at BSP after comm).
5.30 Kempton – COMPLETELY RANDOM (1pt win – 11/2 bet365)
COMPLETELY RANDOM caught the eye when fifth to Get It in this season’s Wokingham Stakes at Royal Ascot, doing well to finish two lengths behind the winner under a patient ride when it paid to be on the front end. He was poorly drawn on the far side when eighth of 27 in the Stewards’ Cup next time, doing third best of his group and was poorly drawn/hampered when beating only a few home at York next time. The 7f trip didn’t aid his cause when seventh of 13 at Newmarket last time, though he still managed to emerge best of those ridden patiently. Harry Charlton’s four-year-old returns to the all-weather for the first time since his 5f Southwell win in early April and he looks set to encounter a decent gallop despite the small field.
