Charging Thunder has become hard to trust on recent evidence, while veteran Elysian Flame looks vulnerable against younger legs despite a workable mark. Wahraan is dangerously well handicapped on old ability but has not been shaping like a likely winner. In truth, it’s not a deep Class 3 and the market has probably got this about right: if Anniversary stays this trip well enough, he should be taking it.
