There is Group 1 action on the continent on Tuesday, with the Grand Prix de Paris at Longchamp. On home shores, the racing is lower key, but fiercely competitive.
GG tipster Joe Napier picks out our Lucky 15 tips for Tuesday closer to home. His selections run at Beverley and Wolverhampton.
Beverley Racing Tips (Tuesday 14 July)
Just six races take place in the heat at Beverley on Tuesday. We have two tips, in the fourth and final races.
3.48 Beverley – Melting Snow (1pt win – 6/1)
Hat-trick seeking Bradbury is a tail-flasher, which could mean he has more to offer in better company. It may also be a negative as to his attitude though. At a decent price, Melting Snow might be a different proposition entering handicaps. Ed Dunlop has had three winners in the past fortnight, all of them three-year-old handicappers. The selection is from an exceptional family, being by Too Darn Hot, with her dam a daughter of Snow Fairy. Her three qualifying runs in maidens and novice events have been over around 7f. This step up to 1m2f should be much more suitable on pedigree, and on how she has seen out her races from in rear the last twice. An opening rating of 62 could easily be exploited.
4.58 Beverley – Thornaby Annie (1pt win – 7/2)
Three-year-olds receive 8lb from their elders over this 7½f trip at this juncture. That might prove beneficial for Thornaby Annie up against recent winner The Sweet Escape. Adrian Nicholls’ filly ran well on her first three starts of 2026. Two runner-up efforts over 7f at Doncaster and Redcar preceded a victory over 1m at Wetherby in June. She then raced too keenly over 100 yards further at Nottingham. Back down a furlong in trip, the distance between 7f and 1m might prove absolutely ideal. She should be able to race less freely and has every chance of regaining her form.
Wolverhampton Racing Tips (Tuesday 14 July)
Wolverhampton’s seven-race card occurs during the evening on Tuesday. We have two selections there, including in the finale.
5.55 Wolverhampton – Night Storm (1pt win – 5/1)
There are a lot of plausible improvers here, the oldest being Night Storm. Unexposed for a four-year-old, the son of Night Of Thunder won both starts in 2025 after a huge layoff. Starting in handicaps, he was a strong favourite when beaten at Newcastle over 5f. He then had to wait another 149 days before reappearing on turf at Redcar when only finishing fourth. That was over 5f again, but he should have more to offer over 6f down 1lb in the handicap. With both wins having been on the all-weather, returning to an artificial surface is also a positive. Billy Loughnane is a positive jockey booking too.
7.55 Wolverhampton – Luan (1pt win – 5/1)
Loughnane is also aboard Luan in the finale at the Midlands track. Uncompetitive in his first five career starts, James Ferguson’s gelding won an amateur riders’ event at Newcastle at the end of June. That came over 1m2f and second time out. He clearly improved for a run and stepping up in trip, while 1m4f, which he faces here, may help unlock further progress. The son of Sea The Stars is related to a Listed winner and two Group-placed horses. As such, he should prove better yet, his win last time out hinting he may discover that now.
