Catterick Racing Tips (Friday 30 January 2026)
Catterick get their seven-race card under way at 1.10pm and finish at 4.23pm. Check out our two best bets for the action at the Yorkshire racecourse.
1.40 Catterick – Zero Tolerance (1pt win – 100/30)
Always A Reason was a winner last time out, but has been given a significant rise by the handicapper, so should prove vulnerable in the 1.40pm at Catterick. One of the five runners that has been running well, but has struggled to get his head in front is Zero Tolerance, who was third on his last outing at Catterick for Evan Williams, but a slight improvement on that effort should see him thereabouts. Plenty lack consistency in this event, but Zero Tolerance has been knocking on the door for a while now and he can duly break his maiden tag on Friday.
2.10 Catterick – Byron Hill (1pt win – 8/1)
Patrick Neville’s Byron Hill put in his best performance for a while last time out when third at Catterick and he’s been duly dropped 1lb by the handicapper for this event, so a mark of 103 gives him a huge chance of returning to the winner’s enclosure. He’s now 2lbs lower than his last winning mark, and with the step back up in trip likely to aid his chances then he can land the win in the 2.10pm contest.
Ffos Las Racing Tips (Friday 30 January 2026)
Four hurdle races and three chases make up the seven-race card at Ffos Las on Friday, and our final two Lucky 15 tips feature on the Welsh jumps card.
2.20 Ffos Las – Illogical Logic (1pt win – 7/2)
Runner-up on his last outings at Windsor and Hereford, Illogical Logic has been well and truly knocking on the door, but the Christian Williams-trained runner has found one too good. Now, heading to Ffos Las for their 2.20pm off the same mark of 90 the eight-year-old has to stand a huge chance on claiming the win, if he can find some more in the locker. It’s his first trip to the West Wales venue, but the consistency he’s shown of late suggests he has to stand a proper chance in what is a winnable contest.
3.25 Ffos Las – Seasmoke (1pt win – 13/8)
Seasmoke won impressively at Market Rasen two starts ago and Billy Aprahamian’s mare can emulate that success in the 3.25pm at Ffos Las. She was beaten next time out by the progressive Ali Star Bert at Southwell on her next outing, but she is unlikely to meet that sort of in-form rival here. She’s been hugely consistent throughout the last few runs, and with plenty in this line-up often disappointing she can claim another win and continue her progression.
