Chepstow & Kelso Racing Tips — GG Lucky 15 Tips for Friday 13 February 2026

Chepstow & Kelso Racing Tips — GG Lucky 15 Tips for Friday 13 February 2026

There’s a bumper day’s racing on Friday 13 February, as five fixtures take place in the UK & Ireland. Our GG Lucky 15 focuses on two of the meetings, as we head to Chepstow and Kelso for our best bets of the day.

Our tipster Steve Chambers has delved through the form and picks out his four Friday picks here.

Chepstow Racing Tips (Friday 13 February 2026)

It’s sure to be testing going at Chepstow, with their seven-race card getting under way at 1.40pm. We have two tips for the action at the Welsh venue.

3.10 Chepstow – Love Of Neymore (1pt win – 4/1)

Robert Llewellyn’s Love Of Neymore was a narrow neck winner on her last visit to Chepstow and she can defy a 6lbs higher mark in the 3.10pm contest. She’s suffered defeats on her last two outings, but a return to Chepstow should see her at her best. The eight-year-old was last seen competing in a red-hot Windsor handicap hurdle, where she was fourth. That was decent form, and a repeat of that effort in a less competitive race should be enough to see her down the in-form Princess Keri.

4.20 Chepstow – Mumbles (1pt win – 5/1)

Struggling over fences in recent times, Mumbles will hopefully recapture his form now sent over hurdles in the 4.20pm contest. The Evan Williams-trained raider was pulled-up over fences last time out, but has been seen in a much better light over the smaller obstacles. Second in soft going at Chepstow back in November, the eight-year-old should have similar conditions here. Only 1lb higher here, he’s very attractively handicapped to go close. Add in Osian Radford’s 10lbs claim then every looks set for a big run.

Kelso Racing Tips (Friday 13 February 2026)

Kelso play host to a seven-race card that starts at 1.30pm and goes right through until 4.45pm. We pick out another couple of selections for the northern action.

3.00 Kelso – King Of Answers (1pt win – 11/4)

Quality staying handicappers in their prime, both Bill Baxter and Elvis Mail are key players in the 3.00pm at Kelso. However, the one to side with is the younger King Of Answers for Lucinda Russell and Michael Scudamore. The seven-year-old won a novices’ limited handicap chase here two outings ago off 127, and only 3lbs higher here looks to be capable of going in again. Receiving weight from all his rivals, it’s his younger legs that could just see out the closing stages ahead of his ageing adversaries in an intriguing contest.

3.35 Kelso – Queensbury Boy (1pt win – 2/1)

Some in form runners line up for the 3.35pm at Kelso, but it’s Mickey Bowen’s Queensbury Boy that can defy top weight and land the victory. Last seen chasing home Guard The Moon at Windsor’s Winter Million Festival, the seven-year-old is certainly open to more improvement over fences. He remains on the same mark of 127 for this event, so has to be given respect. The likes of Milcree and Joecooker look big dangers, but it’s Queensbury Boy that can go one better than last time.
