Daryl Carter's Horse Racing Tips on Tuesday, January 26

It’s a rare Flat outing for Daryl Carter as he heads to Wolverhampton for two Tuesday horse racing tips. Check them out and GET A RISK-FREE £10 BET

HORN OF PLENTY (4.10 Wolverhampton, 1pt win 7/2)

HORN OF PLENTY has been knocking at the door to no avail but back at Wolverhampton, where she scored impressively off a 4lb lower mark after wind surgery in November, she can be expected to get her head back in front.

She was denied a clear run at Lingfield last time out and finished with plenty of running and she had a similar excuse at Kempton, so if the filly can’t get things right today in this smaller field, excuses will start to wear thin.

FAYATHAAN (6.40 Wolverhampton, 1pt win 9/2)

FAYATHAAN disappointed last time when, in my opinion, he wasn’t given the best ride but things may just fall right for the top weight here. Although not the strongest stayer at the 7f trip, he finds himself drawn well on a sharp track and is unexposed at this trip after just three starts, which includes one victory with two further efforts beaten less than a combined distance of 1.25 lengths.

Plenty of these look like they will appreciate further in time and it’s highly likely that Falcon Brook will attempt to make the running at a slow gallop. Drawn in stall one, Fayathaan will be able to gain a more prominent position under David Probert (jockey opted for similar tactics at Lingfield) and he will be able to use his turn of foot to quicken away while the others get organised to steal first run.
