Doncaster Racing Tips (Saturday 28 March 2026)
A bumper eight-race card takes place at Doncaster, with a 1.20pm start. The Lincoln Handicap is the feature race at 3.32pm and one of our Doncaster tips lines up in the feature contest.
1.50 Doncaster – Montassib (1pt win – 4/1)
A winner of this race back in 2024, Montassib can recapture the Cammidge Trophy crown for William Haggas. He will face last year’s winner Spycatcher, who is vying for favouritism in this event. However, is certainly the class of this race, if he can recapture his form from two years ago. A winner of the Group 1 Sprint Cup, very few will be able to live with his turn of pace, if he can replicate that run here. He disappointed for most of last season, but a return to Doncaster can see him at his best, and he can land this competitive-looking 6f contest.
2.25 Doncaster – Principality (1pt win – 12/1)
Harry Eustace’s yard has been in excellent form of late and he can land the Spring Mile at 2.25pm. Principality won a competitive Goodwood handicap last summer off a mark of 88, and he lines up off that figure in the 2.25pm contest. Sure to be doing all his best work in the closing stages, the Calyx gelding could relish the strong pace sure to be on during this 1m contest. If he can maintain a relatively positive position through the first half of the race then from a middle draw he can follow the pace and strike in the closing furlong.
3.32 Doncaster – Eternal Force (1pt win – 9/2)
La Botte and Eternal Force head the betting for the Lincoln Handicap at 3.32pm and the pair could prove to be the class angles in the race. La Botte will line up for the abovementioned Eustace, but could just struggle to deal with the exciting Eternal Force, who can bound to victory. Three wins at the end of last season saw the William Haggas-trained raider rocket up the handicap. He’s been given a 8lbs rise for a runaway win on his last outing, but that won’t be enough to stop him. Rated 96, he’s certainly a horse that could be running in Group company. Cieren Fallon will exude confidence on him from the outset, and if he can continue his progression then he can bound to glory.
Kempton Racing Tips (Saturday 28 March 2026)
Seven races begin at Kempton at 1.35pm with some tough betting heats for punters to try and work out. We pick one selection for the afternoon in the 2.42pm race.
2.42 Kempton – Gamrai (1pt win – 8/1)
John & Thady Gosden’s Gamrai failed to kick on from a maiden success at Windsor on his second start, but having been gelded the four-year-old could find his feet this season. Last seen finishing fourth at Nottingham back in September, he’s been dropped 2lbs by the handicapper and runs in the 2.42pm off a mark of 88. Plenty hold a chance in this Rosebery Handicap, but Gamrai is one that could improve this season and at near double-figured odds he makes most appeal.
