There are four horse racing fixtures in the UK on Friday with a solitary all-weather card in Ireland at Dundalk. Our GG Lucky 15 focuses on the action on British shores and we head to a brace of jumps fixtures at Exeter and Ayr for our best bets of the day.

Exeter Racing Tips (Friday 6 March 2026)
Eight races will be on offer for punters heading to Exeter on Friday afternoon, with the action kicking off at 1.40pm and going through until 5.18pm.
2.10 Exeter – Flash Gorcombe (1pt win – 7/2)
Robert Walford’s Flash Gorcombe has been running well of late without getting his head in front, but he could well be capable of returning to winning ways in the 2.10pm contest. Third at Wincanton last time out, when a beaten favourite, Walford’s charge has shown he can deliver the goods at Exeter when winning here in January 2025. He is now 4lbs lower than that winning mark, so has to be respected. In a competitive contest, he will need to produce his best, but a return to the West Country track can see him land the prize.
2.40 Exeter – Excelero (1pt win – 5/2)
Having impressed when winning over fences at Warwick earlier in the season, Excelero has disappointed on his last two starts over fences. Well beaten at Ascot and Warwick in those two recent runs, he will need to bounce back to form, but if he can get into a rhythm over his fences then he still has the potential to shine off 126. He will give weight away to all his rivals here, but he is a course winner. The Jane Williams-trained raider will look to dominate from the outset and is the one to beat.
Ayr Racing Tips (Friday 6 March 2026)
Only six races take place at Ayr, but we pick out a brace of selections from the Scottish track to complete our Lucky 15 tips for Friday.
3.50 Ayr – She’s Notjoeking (1pt win – 5/2)
Lucinda Russell & Michael Scudamore’s She’s Notjoeking ended a long losing run last time out at Newcastle and the six-year-old mare can replicate that success with victory at Ayr. Piloted by Conner McCann that day, she will have the same 7lbs claimer in the saddle for the 3.50pm at Ayr, but will have a 6lbs higher mark to contend with here. However, she showed a real return to form that day and a repeat can see her prevail.
4.20 Ayr – Red Cadillac (1pt win – 5/1)
A winner at Carlisle in November, Red Cadillac was last seen finishing second at Ayr in December. However, she was beaten by a progressive horse that day, who has since come out and won again, so the form is pretty good. The Nicky Richards-trained raider has a 5lbs rise to deal with here, but is open to improvement. Thank You Blue bids for a four-timer, but has it all to do off top weight. So, it’s wise to stick with a runner who may not be in the handicapper’s grip.
