Fulham vs Man United Prediction & Tips

Matheus Cunha To Score @ 21/10 with SpreadEX

Encouraged by his positive debut, Cunha will now be looking to make his mark against Fulham, whom he terrorised upon his last visit to Craven Cottage with a brace and an assist.

Over 3.5 Goals @ 21/10 with SpreadEX

Fulham’s home fixtures are often full of goalmouth action. Both teams scored in 14 of their 19 home league games last season, while eight of those saw four or more goals. This one could follow a similar pattern.

Sasa Lukic to be Carded First @ 9/1 with SpreadEX

Sasa Lukic received a dozen yellow cards in the Premier League last season – only matched by Flynn Downes – while only four players made more fouls than his 66. He looks a big price at 9/1 to be the first player to enter into the referee’s book on Sunday.

Fulham Form & Team Setup

Fulham are currently on a three-game losing streak at home and have been beaten in five of their last eight matches at Craven Cottage. Their end-of-season form was patchy, with just five wins and eight defeats in their final 13 games of the campaign.

The Cottagers lined up in a 4-2-3-1 system for the 1-1 draw away at Brighton, where Rodrigo Muniz came off the bench to score a dramatic injury-time equaliser. The Brazilian striker will be pushing to start ahead of Raul Jimenez, while Antonee Robinson remains unavailable through injury.

Man United Form & Team Setup

Man United will still be miffed at how they failed to get a result against Arsenal, having had 60% of the ball, 22 shots, and a 1.59xG, after they were left to rue a costly error from keeper Altay Bayindir. It was their seventh defeat in their last 10 league games dating back to April, with just one win during that time.

However, supporters will be encouraged by the overall performance with new signings Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo both lively throughout. They will surely retain their places with fellow new boy Benjamin Sesko pushing for a start ahead of Mason Mount after he came off the bench against Arsenal. Casemiro could be replaced in the middle of the park. Meanwhile, Andre Onana could regain his place in goal.

Head-to-Head Battles and What the Stats Reveal

Manchester United have dominated this fixture, winning 15 of the last 19 Premier League meetings, including five of the last six. Craven Cottage has certainly been a happy hunting ground, with United claiming victory on each of their last eight visits.

Fulham have managed just one league win over United since 2009, though that did come as recently as 2024. They also knocked United out of the FA Cup on penalties last season.

Bruno Fernandes enjoys this matchup too, having scored five goals in his last seven appearances against Fulham in all competitions.

Key Battles on the Pitch

Kenny Tete vs Matheus Cunha

This could prove to be a ding-dong battle as the dynamic Cunha attempts to use his dribbling ability, intelligent movement, and energy to outfox Kenny Tete in the Fulham defence.

Raul Jiminez/Rodrigo Muniz vs Matthijs de Ligt

Marco Silva faces a choice up front between Raul Jimenez and Rodrigo Muniz. Whoever leads the line will be up against Matthijs de Ligt, who dealt with Viktor Gyokeres impressively last weekend, and will be a tough obstacle once again.

Sasa Lukic vs Bruno Fernandes

Bruno Fernandes operated in a deeper role against Arsenal, Fulham’s Sasa Lukic will be tasked with disrupting his flow and preventing him from dictating the tempo in midfield.
