There are six races on ITV racing on Friday 7th November, with the jumping action taking place at Exeter and Hexham. Our GG Lucky 15 tips column for Friday concentrates on the terrestrial racing and we pick out our four best bets, which includes a selection in the Haldon Gold Cup at 2.25pm.

2.25 Exeter – KALIF DU BERLAIS (1pt win – 13/8 William Hill)
A dominant three-and-a-half length winner of the Group 1 Maghull Novices’ Chase at Aintree last April, KALIF DU BERLAIS will now step out of the novice sphere for the Haldon Gold Cup at Exeter at 2.25pm, and looks the one to beat. He will come up against last year’s winner JPR One, who looks the biggest danger, but Kalif Du Berlais shaped like he could be a real top class chaser for Paul Nicholls and he can give weight away to all his rivals in this and land the prize in style. Still only five, he has bags of improvement in him and if he can get into a decent rhythm over his obstacles then he could well dominate in the closing stages.
2.45 Hexham – RIOJA ALTA (1pt win – 4/1 bet365)
Micky Hammond’s RIOJA ALTA has been a real model of consistency in 2025 notching up a brace of wins and two placed efforts as well. The five-year-old can continue to blossom over hurdles in the 2.45pm at Hexham and land a third victory over the year. Last seen in July winning a Cartmel handicap off a mark of 100, the son of Australia will now have to deal with a 5lbs higher mark in Friday’s event. However, he shaped like there could be more to come over obstacles and having had a decent break he can return in fine fashion and make it two wins on the bounce.

3.00 Exeter – DIRTY DEN (1pt win – 5/1 generally)
DIRTY DEN put up a career best on his last start for Syd Hosie when finishing second in a competitive Chepstow event, and the five-year-old can use that run as a springboard to victory in the 3.00pm at Exeter. That outing came after a break, so he should strip fitter for those exertions, and while he’s been given a notable 5lbs rise he looks to have the capabilities to defy that rise here. He will drop back in trip, which is another huge positive, as he was passed in the closing stages over two-and-a-half miles, so going back to 2m should play to his strengths, and it was over that trip his last win came over.
3.35 Exeter – JUPITER ALLEN (1pt win – 7/2 generally)
Chester Williams has made a fabulous start to his training career having won with his first two runners as a trainer, and he can continue that sparkling start with victory in the 3.35pm at Exeter with JUPITER ALLEN, who will be ridden by Harry Cobden. A course and distance winner last season, Jupiter Allen has won two of his three career starts at the West Country track, so has shown he produces his best there. Last seen finishing down the field in the National Hunt Chase at the Cheltenham Festival, he will head to calmer waters on Friday and he looks more than capable of kicking off his new campaign with a win.
