2.10 Uttoxeter – GALATA BRIDGE (1pt win – 8/1 bet365)
Dr Richard Newland & Jamie Insole’s GALATA BRIDGE was last seen finishing a creditable third at Market Rasen and the eight-year-old has potential of building on that effort and landing victory in the 2.10pm at Uttoxeter on Tuesday. A winner off a mark of 116 at Perth last season, Galata Bridge will take his chance off 115 here, so he’s certainly on an attractive mark, if he can produce his best form.
2.55 Yarmouth – PAROLE OFFICER (1pt win – 4/1 bet365)
Placed in his last four starts, PAROLE OFFICER heads into the 2.55pm at Yarmouth still a maiden, but the Sean Woods-trained raider will have the benefit of William Buick on his back on Tuesday and he looks capable of getting his head in front for the first time. The step back to 7f should be a positive and in his first start in a handicap then he looks attractively handicapped off a mark of 69.
3.10 Uttoxeter – HAREL DU MARAIS (1pt win – 4/1 bet365)
HAREL DU MARAIS was a two-length winner at Market Rasen last time out and the hugely consistent eight-year-old gelding can duly notch up another win in the 3.10pm at Uttoxeter. He certainly benefited from some obstacles being taken out last time out, as he has shown some jumping frailties, but he is in the form of his life and only 3lbs higher than his last winning mark he has the potential to go in again.
3.33 Redcar – ANGELIC BUGLER (1pt win – 7/1 bet365)
Tim Easterby’s ANGELIC BUGLER was a taking winner on debut, but has since struggled to kick on from that first success. However, the 3.33pm at Redcar looks a pretty weak contest and he could well record a second win here. Fifth last time out at Catterick in quickish ground, Easterby’s charge could enjoy a little more cut underfoot on Tuesday and a mark of 64 looks decent enough to play a starring role.
