There are six horse racing fixtures on Wednesday 26th November in the UK & Ireland and our GG Lucky 15 tips picks out our best four bets of the day. Check out our selections here…
12.50 Market Rasen – DEVON SKIES (1pt win – 15/8 bet365)
Phil Kirby’s DEVON SKIES has been a revelation since adopting front-running tactics and picked up back-to-back wins at Sedgefield. He now looks to land the hat-trick of wins when he heads down south for the 12.50pm at Market Rasen and he can defy another 7lbs rise and claim victory in another minor event over hurdles. A facile six-length winner on his last outing, he will be looking to dominate from the flag fall once again, and if he can replicate his last brace of Sedgefield runs then he can maintain the winning run.
1.55 Market Rasen – SECRET TRIX (1pt win – 7/1 Betfred)
Olly Murphy’s SECRET TRIX may have a win on his record for his last racecourse outing, but that was a walkover, so you can ignore that before looking at his form. Having been seen competing over fences in recent times, he returns to the hurdling sphere for the 1.55pm and he’s 3lbs lower than his last winning mark, which came at Uttoxeter in July last year. He’s been second a few times this season over fences, but a return to hurdling could bring out slight improvement and with Sean Bowen in the saddle he’s the value play in a trappy betting heat.
2.09 Wetherby – ONEWAYWEST (1pt win – 13/8 bet365)
Ben Pauling’s ONEWAYWEST cruised to an emphatic 12-length victory at Warwick last week and the in-form six-year-old will attempt to win off the same mark of 112 in the 2.09pm at Wetherby and looks more than capable, if in the same form. Partnered by Elliott England again here, who will claim 10lbs, the young jockey will be eager to get on the front end like he did at Warwick and dominate the contest. He will have the burden of top weight in this contest, but the manner in which he cruised to victory last week suggests there’s more in the locker and he can go in again.
2.39 Wetherby – VISUAL IMPACT (1pt win – 5/2 bet365)
Winless in his seven career starts, VISUAL IMPACT has been knocking on the door in that time without getting his head in front, but the Lucinda Russell & Michael Scudamore-trained raider can finally break his duck in the 2.39pm at Wetherby. Last seen finishing third at Ayr on his first start of the season, the six-year-old will certainly come on for that run and stepping up to three miles here he could finally land the win. He will have the burden of top weight in this event, but his consistency should mean he can be competitive and he looks a solid option.
