The talented Bolt Action is nothing if not consistent. He will undoubtedly have his supporters but he maybe a bit exposed in this sphere and the talented WALLOP can continue his improvement and win for the first time here.
He was in hot waters last time in the Mill Reef and came up against a potential star in Sakheer. That wasn’t a bad performance to finish fifth in and amongst some talented rivals. He was also third in a race won by Gimcrack winner Noble Style which reads well in the context of this.
He looks to be learning with each run and if he can get it all together today he can come out on top.
Double
Bresson – 2.34 Salisbury (2-5 Generally)
Unless there is something special lurking in the newcomers. it’s very difficult to see BRESSON being overturned here. He won at a canter last time out by 4 lengths barely breaking sweat.
His powerful connections look to have found him another opportunity to win, with confidence high. He is already rated 90 and looks like he’s going to improve even further. It’s hard to see there being one of that class in the debutants. Those with a run haven’t exactly set the world alight so it looks to be at the mercy of the selection.
Geromino – 2.46 Warwick (Evens Generally)
Donald McCain sends out hat-trick hero GEROMINO out again and he can land the four-timer here. This yard seem to have such a knack of placing their horses to keep winning and it’s hard to see Geronimo not going the same way.
He gives weight to market rival Brief Times but he has a lay off since April to contend with. Match fitness might just decide things here Brian Hughes can steer him to another win.

Big fields seem to bring out the best in him, having finishing a good 5th last time in higher company, and a solid 4th on his 2nd start in a field of 16. He drops another 1lb here and back in this company can take advantage.
