NAP: Tommy G – 3.35 Ayr (11/2 Generally)
As the old adage goes ‘always back Tommy G at Ayr’…Or something like that. Anyway, it’s one of my rules and he looks a HUGE price tomorrow. He arguably should have gone in here last time, and was given too much to do and stayed into 2nd. He comes here due to go up 2lbs in future, he’s down in Class, goes on the ground, distance… There’s lot’s in his favour and he rates a really solid play here as an each way bet to nothing.
Go Tommy, Go, Go!
10/3 Double
Radetsky March – 1.50 Ayr (11/8 Generally)
It could be a bit of a clue that Archie Watson travels promising colt RADETSKY MARCH all the way from Lambourn to Ayr. He was a very promising 3rd on his debut and is stepped up in trip here on his next start.
That looks the best form on offer here and he hails from a yard famous for improving their two-year-old next start. He should be ripe for this and judging by his last start won’t mind a bit of cut in the ground. Hollie Doyle makes the trip and everything points to a big run.
Lutinebella – 2.15 Warwick (5/6 Generally)
Lutinebella arrives here with the best form on offer having come 3rd in a Grade 2 bumper at Aintree. That puts her rightfully at the top of the market. Another string to her bow is that Warwick is clearly somewhere she likes with form of 221 here so far in her short career.
Hopefully she’s fit and ready to go, but did win after over 100 days of the track here in February so there’s hope that she will go well fresh.
Outsider: Aberama Gold – 3.00 Ayr (15/2 Generally)
Is today the day that Aberama Gold takes advantage of a slipping mark? I think it might be. He comes here with a mixed bag of performances this season, and several times flattering to deceive in big field events.
For all that though he’s found himself 16lbs lower than his last winning mark and must surely make it count at some point. He’s back at a Course and Distance he won a nursery, and Ayr seems to be a track he likes having recorded a couple of good 2nd places here earlier in the year. Hopefully we catch him right and he can go in at generous odds.
