A winner of the Welsh Champion Hurdle at Chepstow, Celtic Dino will look to follow that up here and will carry top weight, while another prominent figure in the betting is Dan Skelton’s Mirabad, who was impressive when winning at Cheltenham in December. Dan Skelton’s MIRABAD failed to build on an easy win at Cheltenham when down the field in the William Hill Hurdle at Newbury, but off the track since then he looks like he has the potential to storm to victory here. Others could find themselves in the handicapper’s grip, but Mirabad can get the better of the in-form duo of Celtic Dino and Alexei in a race that can see the fancied runners dominate what should be an intriguing contest.
