Five horse racing fixtures race on Wednesday 3 December and the GG Lucky 15 tips for the day come from the National Hunt fixtures at Haydock and Ludlow.
Wednesday’s cards include some competitive racing at all the meetings, with the standout runner coming at Haydock in the opening race at 12.08pm with Supreme Novices’ Hurdle favourite Mydaddypaddy a hot favourite for the contest. Here are today’s racing tips, broken down by meeting.
Haydock Racing Tips (Wednesday 3 December 2025)
Seven races will be run during Wednesday afternoon at Haydock, with three of our selections in the GG Lucky 15 coming from the Lancashire course.
12.38 Haydock – Lets Mingle (1pt win – 11/4)
Lucinda Russell & Michael Scudamore’s Lets Mingle has been on the upgrade in recent outings and having been a workmanlike maiden hurdle winner at Kelso two starts ago, the mare then followed that up with a creditable run in second at Kelso. She’s been given another 2lbs rise by the handicapper for that run in late October, so she will have a career high mark of 109 to deal with in the 12.38pm at Haydock, but the race certainly looks winnable. Stepping up to three miles for the first time here, this could see her improve for the step up, and if she can slicken her jumping then she could prove tough to beat.
2.08 Haydock – Does He Know (1pt win – 9/2)
Ian Donoghue’s Dunboyne is well fancied for the veterans event at 2.08pm, but his recent consistency has seen him rise back up the ratings and he could be vulnerable off a mark of 137 on Wednesday. On the contrary, Does He Know has been tumbling down the ratings, but the Kim Bailey & Mat Nicholls-trained raider looks very attractively handicapped off a mark of 141. Dropped 6lbs from his last outing, where he was third at Cheltenham in April, the 10-year-old is a former Grimthorpe Chase winner at Doncaster, so if he can replicate that sort of display then he can return to winning ways.
2.38 Haydock – Knomorediamonds (1pt win – 5/2)
It can prove to be a really profitable day for the training duo of Lucinda Russell and Michael Scudamore as they can team up for more success in the 2.38pm race with Knomorediamonds. He did unseat in the middle of his last outing, but prior to that he was a facile 57-length winner at Hexham. The race broke up that day, but he was given a huge 11lbs rise for that success, but the manner in which he dispatched his rivals that day suggested there’s more to come. This looks a more competitive event, but if that recent tumble doesn’t leave his mark then he still looks capable of getting his head in front off a mark of 115.
Ludlow Racing Tips (Wednesday 3 December 2025)
Another seven-race card is on offer at Ludlow racecourse and our final GG Lucky 15 tip comes from the Lincolnshire track, as we look to find a winner on a busy afternoon.
1.50 Ludlow – Kingston Sunflower (1pt win – 11/4)
Wins in October and November has seen Fergal O’Brien’s Kingston Sunflower rocket up the ratings and the flourishing mare can continue her progression with victory in the 1.50pm at Ludlow. A two-and-a-quarter length winner at Huntingdon last month, she’s been given another 4lbs rise for that success, so does take her chance off 121, which gives her top weight. However, her upgrade in form certainly doesn’t look like stopping any more and she can down the vulnerable favourite Walkadina for the David Pipe yard.
