Hereford Racing Tips (Wednesday 11 February 2026)
Seven races take place at Hereford, with a 1.30pm start and 4.33pm finish. We have a brace of selections for the action over the sticks.
3.30 Hereford – Springtime Legend (1pt win – 9/4)
Sixth at Windsor on her last start back on New Year’s Day, Neil Mulholland’s Springtime Legend will drop down in class for the 3.30pm at Hereford and looks capable of defying top weight here. She will step up in trip for this contest, which should be a huge positive for her. Having been dropped 3lbs by the handicapper for her most recent run, she’s been given a huge chance. A runner-up over this trip earlier in her career, she will have very little in the way of quality taking her on, so she can simply outclass her rivals and claim a first career victory.
4.00 Hereford – L’empire Vert (1pt win – 11/1)
L’empire Vert has dropped to his last winning mark of 90 and if he can improve his jumping then the Sheila Lewis-trained raider could be capable of landing the 4.00pm contest. A winner three starts ago, he’s since found life tough over fences. A faller two outings ago, he was then well beaten on his last outing at Ludlow. However, a drop in class here should mean his jumping is given chance to improve. If he can get into a decent rhythm over his obstacles then he should be capable of going very close in a mediocre event.
Wetherby Racing Tips (Wednesday 11 February 2026)
Wetherby start off with a two-runner novice chase at 1.51pm, but there’s more competitive action later on. We pick out two selections across the card.
3.21 Wetherby – Paddy O’Mahler (1pt win – 13/8)
Back-to-back wins at Newcastle and Haydock has seen Paddy O’Mahler put in some fine displays on the track this season. Sue Smith & Joel Parkinson’s charge bids for a hat-trick of wins on Wednesday in the 3.12pm at Wetherby. He’s been given a 5lbs rise for a fine victory over Ski Lodge last time out, and a mark of 110 still looks workable. The pair pulled well clear of their rivals that day, and Paddy O’Mahler shaped like there’s definitely more to come over 3m over fences.
3.51 Wetherby – Woodland Park (1pt win – 5/2)
Winless this season, Olly Murphy’s Woodland Park has been knocking on the door of late, but can finally get his first win this campaign in the 3.51pm at Wetherby. Given a 2lbs rise for a second at Uttoxeter last time out, the seven-year-old still looks able to land a prize off 122. Tourmand Giantsbane is a notable danger for the Skeltons here, but Woodland Park is the selection in this event. Sean Bowen will need to get him wound up a long way from home, but he can duly grind out a victory.
