Our top tipster, Daryl Carter has that Friday feelng and gets in the mood for the upcoming weekend of racing with five selections from Chester and Nottingham. Check out his selections below, along with an excellent welcome offer from our friends at Tote
REVICH – (1.45 Chester, 2pt win – 15/4)
REVICH caught the eye in the Lincoln on seasonal return when denied a clear run after being slowly away from the gates and a similar eye-catching performance at Newbury in the Spring Cup followed. Those two performances off 1lb higher are enough to think he still has more to come and back here at Chester for which he is 3/5 and 2/2 on his last two visits make him of serious interest. He has been granted the plum draw in stall 1 and had made all of the runnings at this venue off a 4lb lower mark on his previous visit. There are very few if any negatives against him and Tom Marquand, who was successful on board when he last rode him, takes up reigns.

ALTERNATIVE FACT – (3.45 Chester, 1pt each-way – 11/2)
ALTERNATIVE FACT has been screaming for a return to this 1m2f distance and the booking of Ryan Moore gives confidence that he is fit and ready to go the first time up. His form more than suggests he is capable off of this mark of 96 and this is weaker than many of the tasks he faced last season. Trainer Ed Dunlop won this race in 2016 with a similar type in Dark Red and it would be disappointing should he not make the frame.

NAGANO – (6.00 Nottingham, 1pt win – 15/8)
NAGANO caught the eye on debut in a race that will likely work out well in the long term with the fourth already a winner on his next start. He was slowly away but once the penny dropped he finished out his race with a powerful kick and screamed potential improver. This yard’s three-year-olds tend to go well in the early part of the season so he remains one to keep on side.

MARIE ANTOINETTE – (7.00 Nottingham, 2pts win – 2/1)
Plenty of unknowns in this big field but MARIE ANTOINETTE did leave a good impression when seeing her race out strongly at Newbury. She was green in the early stages and race with the choke out for much of the race and it’s to her credit she finished as strongly as she did. That experience won’t be lost on her and with natural improvement, she looks like a promising individual.

CRUYFF TURN – (7.30 Nottingham, 1pt each-way – 10/1)
CRUYFF TURN wasn’t disgraced on his seasonal return at Leicester and there is a good chance that he will benefit from that run and this extra 1/2 a furlong. He is yet to be fully exposed with his penultimate start at Pontefract easily excused when found lame post-race. Before that he looked a progressive horse under an apprentice rider and now with a fully-fledged professional on his back and race fit he may continue his progression. Plenty of his form has worked out well including his victory off 5lb lower on handicap debut at Redcar and those form lines tie in with a few of today’s rivals.
