RAAEQ showed a high level of form off the back of a 33- day break over course and distance last month and he is taken to defy a 2lb rise and get his head in front today at the expense of Dubai Mirage (I love this horse).
He is completely unexposed on looks and on a good handicap mark given his form as a two-year-old last season when taking care of Establish (93 well treated) as the pair pulled well clear of the remainder, which includes Haqeeqy (92) and Declared Interest (85).
His reappearance run was a race dictated by James Doyle under a good front-running ride, which wouldn’t have suited the strong-staying Raaeq, but he managed to quicken up well before tiring late on. That performance screamed potential improver and bar the above mentioned Dubai Mirag,e this looks a much weaker affair so a chance is taken he can improve in receipt of 6lb.

LALANIA ran a blinder on the figures at Newmarket behind Folk Dance with the solid Grande Rumore, a solid 80-rated horse, well back in fourth and the drop back in trip to 7f could see her in a better light.
She looks exposed on the whole but this step up in trip to 7f/1m has seen her improve this season and she gets the services of Hollie Doyle who has built up a good partnership with the mare recording form figures of 115412 (latest wins have come with this trip move).

He has been dropped 1lb for finishing fourth latest but was denied a clear run behind Revich and ran on strongly in the closing stages. He is take to make amends for that run here today to record back-to-back wins from a good draw in stall 6.

He won’t be long in getting his head in front and has the ability to rate higher than this crop, he is drawn well in stall one to dictate and looks the type to benefit from first time cheekpieces. On handicap debut is a confident bet to come out on top.
