There is no reason to disbelieve the Wetherby performance of BALLYCALLAN FAME especially when it was backed up by the clock and she should take some stopping providing jockey Charlie Hammond rides with a little more restraint in this company
Nothing in this field has achieved anything on the clock within 10lb of the selection with her running up to a mark of 125 + on my figures and this should be a routine victory.

A chance is taken on the well handicapped SHERIFF GARRETT who put in a no-show at Market Rasen in December in a 0-120 to take his record right-handed to 0/2 but he had shown up well for a long way at Wetherby and, bar the winner and the third, did the best of those ridden prominently in another 0-120.
The winner and the third horse has since won and are now rated 6lb and 3lb higher while Sheriff Garrett runs off a 6lb lower mark and drops into a 0-110. He now returns to Sedgefield, where his record reads 2 and 4, and he has been beaten less than five lengths in both of those starts off marks of 117 and 108.
Today he runs off 106, 2lb lower than his last winning mark and he may be able to capitalise on this drop in class.
