ARTURO TOSCANINI (2.05 Curragh, 1pt each-way 14/1)
The market seems to have forgotten all about debut winner ARTURO TOSCANINI who needed every yard of the 7f trip to get up and beat subsequent Irish 2,000 Guineas fifth Emporio. That form looks to have been underrated especially given the third in that race is now half the price of the selection; he also won next time out and chased home El Drama at Chester.
The fourth, Sir Lamorak, has won his next two starts and had an experience edge, and the selection was green as grass that day. He was too poor to be true at Newmarket in the Feilden Stakes, but that could be a case of being a first-time traveller, and that run is easily forgiven. He is in no way a double-figure chance here if bouncing back with this new trip a source of improvement.

CAYENNE PEPPER (2.40 Curragh, 0.5pts each-way 10/1)
CAYENNE PEPPER holds easily the strongest formlines in this race outside of the favourite Broome, who is in the form of his life, but the softer ground should turn this into a test, and she seems versatile when it comes to ground conditions.
Most of these are running over a trip short of their best, but she has a bright turn of foot and will be ridden prominently, so she may be able to steal a tactical advantage.

QAYSAR (3.30 Nottingham, 2pts win 9/2)
QAYSAR continues to be underestimated in the market. Connections look to have found another good opening here for him to get his head in front and talented claimer Luke Catton taking off 7lb is a wise move.
Qaysar has been remarkably consistent in top-class handicaps already this season and showed last term that he thrived on his racing, and he is effectively (due to claim) off a lower mark than all of his runs this term. This looks like a weak favourite in Brentford Hope, who was very poor at Windsor when behind the selection and his form on the whole now looks very weak.
King Carney continues to disappoint, and the hood needs to see dramatic improvement, while the remainder are exposed handicappers up in grade. The selection is 3/7 on soft ground and is in good form, unlike any of the others in the field and can get the better of King Carney, who is the pace angle here.
