It’s a chancy bet, but HOMELESS SONGS looked a filly to follow when scoring on debut in ready style to beat Agartha. She came from an unpromising position, showed a very bright turn of foot and sustained it right to the line.
That debut recorded an RPR of 96, an impressive start to her career. The runner-up has boosted the form twice since, and the third, fifth, sixth and seventh are all winners since. She looks like an exciting horse for the future and should have too much speed for the favourite Cairde Go Deo.

EBRO RIVER has some of the strongest two-year-old form in defeat and the strongest six-furlong form in Ireland, so it’s no surprise connection head back that way, and the step up in trip n the latest evidence of his Group 1 victory looks a good move. He offers plenty of value at the prices given he is only 1lb off top-rated and the only Group 1 winner in the field. The step-up in trip is a source of improvement.

MYSTERY FOX did remarkably well at Beverley, given the draw in stall 10 suggested he had no chance, and the form of that will likely work out going forward. This scenario is much more like it, and he could prove well ahead of this mark of 77 on the evidence of his penultimate start at Newmarket behind a group winner. He should take some stopping here. Flaming Lord would be the forecast pick.
