Corey McGivern may well get his first winner here on WILL STING who clocked a useful time at Warwick back in January and his 10lb claim negotiates most of that 13lbs rise for which was justly deserved. He will relish conditions unlike a few others in here, who granted, could have more to come off their handicap marks but it would be disappointing should the Lucy Wadham runner not record back to back victories.

FLEGMATIK was disappointing at Ascot but he never got into any sort of rhythm there and looked uncomfortable from the get-go so I am happy to forgive that effort and give him one final chance back here at Sandown. He was an impressive winner on Chase debut at Carlise and that form has worked out well and he then caught the eye at Sandown in a much stronger event but suffered interference multiple times throughout the race. He lurks on a dangerous mark and back here at Sandown in slightly calmer waters can see him get back to winning ways.
