Taking on Harry Fry horses at Plumpton is not usually the best idea, but the handicapper did drop On My Command two pounds for her Market Rasen win last time, and she does now step into a handicap for the first time and is up in grade.
SACRE COEUR ran a blinder here on her last visit in a highly competitive Class 2 race against the boys when finding that 2m trip on the short side, and she is 3lbs lower today. Today’s 2m4f is more suitable, and she shaped as though she is about to hit form when doing well from the rear of the field at Bangor in a race that played into the hands of those ridden prominently.
This is a slight step up in grade from her latest run, but she has excuses, and this is as weak a Class 3, you will find. She has only had two starts for this yard, and her Ludlow run on her penultimate start, which was her seasonal return, is easily forgiven. There is plenty in her favour to score today, and she looks a good bit of value at the prices.
