MAROWN clearly has a fair bit to find with Messire Des Obeaux but after a fine start over fences the Alan King horse now has something to prove after a disappointing run at Sandown.
The step up to 3m also looks a strange move given the ground he makes over his fences at speed so he may not be suited to this new test. The selection however looks similarly unexposed but should be suited by this step up in trip after being outspeeded at Haydock in the later part of the race behind Galahad Quest.
He looks sure to appreciate this better surface and is open to significant improvement after reaching a high level of form so early in his career.

I was extremely confident that MR KATANGA could defy his opening handicap mark on handicap debut at Fontwell last month but he was given another strange ride held up at the rear of the field.
