IBIZA ROCKS (3.50 Leicester, 3pt win, 13/8)
IBIZA ROCKS looks very well treated off of this handicap mark, just 2lbs higher than when chasing home a very smart improver at Sandown last time. That was just his second run on turf, and he finished well clear of some solid handicappers. His other run on turf when scoring by a neck over Siam Fox (91) at Newbury has worked out well with that one rated 5lbs higher than him, the third-rated 11lbs higher than him, the eighth is rated 93, the ninth is rated 102, and the twelfth rated 90.
This mark of 86 on just his second turf start and just his second handicap start looks well within reach, and Charles Hills brings in Ryan Moore, for which the pair are 2/5 (40%) here at Leicester. His form is littered with horses rated in the ’90s or above, and this looks like his best opportunity yet. Bowman hasn’t looked the strongest stayer at this 7f trip previously on turf, while Colour Image doesn’t look particularly well handicapped on his UK form and Revolutionise is best on the all-weather, for all, he has run with credit the last twice on turf and poses the biggest threat.

WHITEFEATHERSFALL (5.45 Windsor, 1pt win, 7/1)
WHITEFEATHERSFALL is none too reliable at first glance at his form figures, but he has been crying out for a fast surface since his neck second to one now rated 103 at Haydock earlier in the year. He was caught out at Epsom doing too much too soon on ground softer than ideal behind New Pursuit and ran an eye-catching race at Goodwood when denied a clear run at a crucial stage, finishing under a hand and heels ride from stall 12.
It was a poor run at York when he was held up and unable to land a blow, but this scenario should suit him better, and he is likely to get the run of the race on the front end and now back on a faster surface off a 4lbs lower mark than his opening figure he could have more to offer.

PURE BUBBLES (6.45 Windsor, 1pt win, 11/2)
This looks tricky, but plenty of these lack pace, and that could be to the advantage of PURE BUBBLES if this turns into a tactical affair. He has some very strong form from earlier in the year, notably his Lingfield all-weather run and his Newmarket fourth behind a rapid improver.
The handicapper looks to have given him a chance, and he shaped as though this trip suited at Lingfield last time and the first time cheekpieces could bring out further improvement dropped into a Class 5.
