Another £50,000 is available in Friday’s ITV7, which takes in some of the top races at Glorious Goodwood and here at GG we attempt to point you in the right direction of those all important seven winners. Check out our ITV7 Picks for Friday’s racing here…

Race 1 – 1:50pm Goodwood – Coral Goodwood Handicap
A decent third in the Ascot Stakes at Royal Ascot, KYLE OF LOCHALSH then could only finish in the same position at Newbury next time out over two miles. He will step back up in trip for the opening race at Goodwood at 1:50pm and that could see him really sparkle. Hughie Morrison’s colt still has some notable improvement in him and if he can build on that Newbury run now stepping back in trip then he could be tough to beat in this hugely competitive opener.
Race 2 – 2:00pm Southwell – Download The Raceday Ready App Handicap
LOTUS ROSE has been on a long losing run, but she’s been plummeting in the handicap and looks capable of going very close in a pretty mediocre Southwell contest at 2:00pm. The five-year-old is rated 10lbs lower than her last winning mark and is 8lbs lower than her last appearance on the all-weather. She will need to improve on her recent run at Chester, but with Hollie Doyle in the saddle she can go close.
Race 3 – 2:25pm Goodwood – Bonhams Thoroughbred Stakes
Second in the French 2000 Guineas, Roger Teal’s DANCING GEMINI then put up a bold big when sixth in the Derby at Epsom Downs. Unable to land any sort of blow when last of six in the Coral-Eclipse at Sandown Park, the three-year-old will take a notable drop in grade for the 2:25pm at Goodwood. The son of Camelot has shown his best form in soft going, but he’s yet to race on quick ground, so he could be capable of running well and in Group 3 company could prove to be a class above his rivals.

Race 4 – 2:35pm Southwell – Free Digital Racecard At raceday-ready.com Novice Stakes
Still a maiden after four starts, James Ferguson’s GULF LEGEND can finally break his maiden tag in the 2:35pm at Southwell. Runner-up on his last two starts at Newcastle and Haydock, the Dubawi gelding has been knocking on the door and with very little opposition showing any notable signs of being decent in this event then Ferguson’s charge can prevail.
Race 5 – 2:45pm Newcastle – JPS Ceilings And Partitions Restricted Novice Stakes
Archie Watson’s GLITTERATI won at the third time of asking last time out at Chepstow and the in-form two-year-old can knock up back-to-back wins and claim victory in the 2:45pm at Newcastle. A facile six-length winner that day, he will have to give weight away to all his rivals in this novice stakes, but he shaped like he could be potentially much better than his rivals and he has to be the selection
Race 6 – 3:00pm Goodwood – Coral Golden Mile Handicap
David O’Meara has a really strong hand in the Coral Golden Mile Handicap at 3:00pm in what is the toughest betting heat of the day and BLUE FOR YOU looks the one to beat here. A fine winner at York last time out, the six-year-old will have to defy a 3lbs penalty to claim victory in this race, but the manner in which he sparkled on the Knavesmire last time out suggests that he’s more than capable of going in again and he is the selection in a cracking renewal.
Race 7 – 3:35pm Goodwood – King George Qatar Stakes
Fourth in both the King Charles III Stakes and Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot, George Boughey’s BELIEVING took a huge step forward when winning the Group 2 Sapphire Stakes at the Curragh. A hugely progressive sprinter, Believing will have to get the better of Asfoora, who beat him at Ascot over 5f, but he’s more than capable of that as he continues to blossom on the track and he can claim a first Group 1 win here.
