Kempton Racing Tips — GG Lucky 15 Tips for Wednesday 28 January 2026

Leicester and Exeter have been forced to cancel their National Hunt fixtures on Wednesday 28 January, so we focus the GG Lucky 15 on the all-weather card at Kempton Park and pick out our four best bets of the day.

We preview the seven-race card and pick out our selections for what will be a competitive day’s racing at Kempton.

Kempton Racing Tips (Wednesday 28 January 2026)

Kempton’s all-weather fixture kicks off at 5.30pm and concludes at 8.30pm with seven races taking place during the evening card. Check out our best bets.

5.30 Kempton – Southbank (1pt win – 7/2)

A winner over course-and-distance back in October, Southbank is only 2lbs higher for the 5.30pm at Kempton, and Chris Gordon’s charge remains in decent form. Last seen finishing second at Lingfield Park, the hugely consistent five-year-old remains on the same mark of 56 for this contest and he looks capable of tasting more success at the track. Portoro and Up The Anti look two big dangers in this contest, but with top amateur Simon Walker in the plate then the Gordon charge can land victory.

6.00 Kempton – Ebn Sabt (1pt win – 4/1)

William Muir & Chris Grassick’s Ebn Sabt just failed to reel in Fanjove at Wolverhampton last time out, but the three-year-old son of Ardad can go one better on Wednesday and grab victory in the 6.00pm contest. He was staying on eye-catchingly well in that 7f 36y contest, so the slight step up to a mile here should be a huge positive. He’s been given a 1lb rise for that fine run, but that shouldn’t stop him in a race that can see him storm home in the closing stages to bag the win.

6.30 Kempton – Rising Force (1pt win – 7/4)

Rising Force rocketed to a half-length victory at Lingfield last week and the in-form Darryll Holland-trained runner can quickly bang in back-to-back wins and land the 6.30pm contest. He will have the burden of a 5lbs penalty to carry, but he was much the best at the finishing line at Lingfield, which suggests there’s a lot more to come. He’s certainly developing well since switching to the yard of former top jockey Holland and whilst he has top weight in this contest he looks more than capable of continuing on an upward curve in the third race of the day.

18:30 Unibet 40,000+ Live Streamed Events Handicap

8.00 Kempton – Lady Wingalong (1pt win 9/2)

Not out of the first four in her last four outings Lady Wingalong has finally been dropped 1lb by the handicapper and she’s now only 2lbs higher than her last win. She recorded three wins from 16 starts last year, but she has been running very well in defeat and can return to the winner’s enclosure here. She will have the huge benefit of having Rossa Ryan on top, so it would be no surprise to see her prove popular all day with punters and she can storm to victory for David Evans.
