Kempton Racing Tips (Monday 10 August 2026)
5.00 Kempton – Believitanducan (1pt win – 7/4 generally)
Believeitanducan was withdrawn on account of the very fast ground when near the head of the betting for the 2m4.5f handicap at Glorious Goodwood but looks worth a bet in this 2m Class 4 handicap. Alan King’s five-year-old clocked a fast time when seeing off 19 rivals in the Northumberland Plate consolation race at Newcastle on his latest assignment, a run that took his record in handicap company to 322112163111 (5-12) for a profit of £4.54 to a £1 level stake at SP, including form figures on the Flat for his current handler of 2111 (3-4).
Windsor Racing Tips (Monday 10 August 2026)
8.15 Windsor – Creciente (1pt win – 3/1 generally)
I wrote up Creciente in my Racng & Football Outlook column after her last of 13 finish on the turf at Lingfield on May 26th…
“CRECIENTE (stall 11 of 13) wouldn’t be an obvious horse-to-follow after finishing last of 13 in the 6f 0-55 handicap, but she got no sort of run against the near side rail under Oliver Searle and was allowed to come home in her own time once her chance had gone. Rod Millman’s three-year-old, who was wearing cheekpieces for the first time, attracted some interest at big prices and could go under the radar next time.”
I put her up as a bet in this column next time at Salisbury, but she did too much too soon and finished fourth of the five runners (15-2) in a 7f apprentice handicap and front-running tactics were again no help at Chepstow shortly after. Everything clicked in a 7f classified contest back at Lingfield on July 22nd when Oisin Murphy was on board for the first time and she probably should have won over the same C&D next time, though challenged wider than winner Musical Soldier, despite starting from a better draw, and was short-headed. Oisin Murphy replaces Lewis Edmunds tonight and the step up to 1m should suit.
