A bumper nine-race card is on offer at Lingfield Park on the all-weather and the action gets under way early at 11.07am.
1.37 Lingfield – Party Island (0.5pt e/w – 13/2 generally)
Party Island gave us a big run for our money when a very well backed second of 11 over course and distance last time, going down by a length and a half to three-year-old Crackalackin who got first run. Denis Coakley’s eight-year-old has a fine record over trips of 1m2f or further on Lingfield’s Polytrack, recording form figures of 1121177162 (5-10) for a profit of £15.88 to a £1 level stake at SP, including four wins and a second from five goes in today’s Class 5 grade or lower company. Crackalackin will again be a dangerous rival but there should be more pace on today with Bobacious in the line-up and he’s taken to reverse the form.
Fontwell Racing Tips (Monday 8 December 2025)
Six races feature on Fontwell’s National Hunt card on Monday with the racing starting at 12.55pm. Andrew’s sole selection at the track runs at 1.55pm
1.55 Fontwell – Mask Of Zorro (1pt win – 11/4 generally)
Joe Tizzard has a fantastic record with last time out winners that are returned to the track 24 days or sooner after their victory, scoring with 31 of the qualifiers (39.74% strike-rate) for a profit of £44.14 to a £1 level stake at SP. Mask Of Zorro kept on well to score by just over three lengths from Nowyouvebinandunit over course and distance last month and is taken to confirm the form. That was the five-year-old’s handicap debut and a 7lb rise might not be enough to stop him.
