With the rain likely to swirl around Britain on Saturday, heavy ground threatens the big jumps meetings. That will not be an issue for Lingfield‘s all-weather card, which hosts eight races during the afternoon.
It is at the Surrey track which Andrew Mount finds three tips for you to kick start your weekend’s betting.
Lingfield Racing Tips (Saturday 7 February 2026)
Lingfield’s may not be the showcase meeting on Saturday, but there are eight competitive races for punters to enjoy. Andrew has tips in three of them to help you on your way.
1.10 Lingfield – Enter Sandman (1pt win – 8/1 bet365)
Enter Sandman caught the eye when debuting in a 5f restricted maiden on turf here last summer, doing well to finish a 14-1 fifth after hanging left from the worst of the draw in stall 1 of 9 (first two home, non-runner adjusted, drawn 9 and 8). Stall 3 of 20 did for him in a sales race on Newmarket’s July Course next time when those who raced on the far side enjoyed a massive advantage and he was given an easy time of thins when only sixth at Redcar on his final qualifying run for a handicap mark. His opening mark of 62 for a Kempton nursery in October looked very workable but the 2-1 shot could only finish sixth after racing keenly on the front end. Gelded since, the visor goes on today and the likely strong pace will suit assuming that George Wood is content to take a lead and stalk the pace.
1.45 Lingfield – Tadreeb (1pt win – 4/1 bet365)
Tadreeb, one of two I bet in a 7f handicap here last month, was heavily backed into 100-30 favouritism but could only finish third to Maximising (who will hopefully have boosted the form in the 8.00 at Newcastle on Friday night). That 0-75 Class 5 contest was run in a very fast time for the grade and Rod Millman’s eight-year-old looks worth another chance. His stable is in good form, and he will hopefully get a good tow into the race from the blinkered first-time Latin. Way To Dubai and Francesi could also put pace to the race.
4.05 Lingfield – Muy Muy Loco (1pt win – 11/2 bet365)
The form of Muy Muy Loco’s latest course and distance fourth to Tommy’s Promise is working out well, with third-placed King’s Hand reversing the form with the winner when the pair finished one-three over the same course and distance next time and Runner-up Eupator winning his next two. Simon Dow’s four-year-old is clear top on last time out speed with Proform, drops back down to Class 6 level and is worth a bet despite the possibility of this race being steadily run.
