Andrew’s jumps tip for Wednesday runs in the fifth-race on Ludlow’s seven-race card.
4.05 Ludlow – Westlain (1pt win – 2/1 bet365, Sky Bet, Paddy Power)
Westlain clocked a fast time according to Proform’s speed figures when successful at Huntingdon 13 days ago where he scored “easily” according to the Racing Post. The Jack Jones-trained four-year-old is now two from two in single-digit line-ups since fitted with a hood and faces just seven rivals this afternoon. His trainer’s record with last time out winners is another positive – 24 winners from 91 bets (26.4% strike-rate) for a profit of £9.26 to a £1 level stake at SP (+£26.82 at Betfair SP after 2% commission).
Kempton Racing Tips (Wednesday 18 February 2026)
Seven racings continue the action into the evening at Kempton. Andrew’s best bet runs in the third race on the card.
6.30 Kempton – Frankali (1pt win – 9/2 Paddy Power, 4/1 generally)
Frankali could only finish fifth of nine at Wolverhampton on her latest outing, but she did too much too soon and helped to set the race up for the closers. The winner and runner-up in that 7f handicap were described by the Racing Post as “towards rear” and “midfield, towards rear 5f out” and her 4.75 lengths defeat was a solid effort in the circumstances, especially given that the other trailblazer – Kanes A Lott – dropped away to finish over 16 lengths behind the winner in eighth of nine. She proved her effectiveness on Polytrack when a 14-1 third at Lingfield on her handicap debut last month and can break her duck tonight.
