Four meetings take place on Tuesday to combine for an intriguing afternoon of racing. The build-up in the jumps world is now well and truly on for the 2026 Grand National.

Newcastle Racing Tips (Tuesday 31 March)
Seven races take place at Newcastle on Tuesday, with the fourth contest the feature. We have tips in that race, and the opener, for you to follow.
2.30 Newcastle – Snowrocco (1pt win – 7/1)
Snowrocco looked a horse going places around the turn of the year. Adam Nicol’s charge has lost the last twice, but may still have another victory in her. The seven-year-old won very comfortably at this venue in December, then did likewise at Musselburgh. Both wins came at about 3m, showing her to be miles ahead of the handicapper. She then finished a competitive fourth in a good race at Market Rasen back over 2m4½f. It is also easy to forgive her blowout back at Musselburgh ten days ago when hurdles were removed. Her trainer believed that to be an issue, while Ryan Mania asked no questions of her once she was beaten. Back down 1lb in the handicap, she should still be ready to compete here.
4.00 Newcastle – Lawrenny (1pt win – 15/2)
Jennie Candlish saddled a welcome weekend winner and Lawrenny could follow suit on Tuesday. The selection showed good form as a novice hurdler last term, winning twice in five starts. He had also won a bumper at this track in March 2024, while his only run at Newcastle over hurdles saw him only narrowly fail to concede a 7lb penalty in january last year. After winning on handicap debut at Hexham last March, he did not show his best on return at Bangor. However, that is now three times out of three he has been below form on seasonal debut. Now that he has that run under his belt, he has the form to feature, with the second and third from that Hexham win scoring themselves in their immediate follow-up runs.
Bangor-On-Dee Racing Tips (Tuesday 31 March)
The six-race card at Bangor is condensed within three hours of action on Tuesday. We have two tips across that sextet of races.
2.45 Bangor-On-Dee – Golden Prince (1pt win – 15/2)
The early market has missed a Christian Williams horse up in trip on handicap debut in Golden Prince. It is not a foolproof method following Williams’ horses when stamina comes more into play. However, they are traditionally the types he excels with and Golden Princes’ profile hints that he could be another. In two of his three novice runs, at Leicester and Haydock, he ran well enough over trips shy of 2m. He was third in a strong 3m point-to-point before starting his rules career though. As a result his future has surely always lay over further. An initial mark of 100 does overestimate his rules efforts to date, but may not account for the potential improvement.
3.50 Bangor-On-Dee – Anyharminasking (1pt win – 7/1)
The drop in class could be just the ticket for Anyharminasking. The nine-year-old is famous in racing circles for beating Constitution Hill in a point-to-point. Under rules, it has been a different story, but he still reached a peak rating of 137. He is now racing off just 119 after losing his way recently. However, his form of 67 this season have come in class 3 races in double-figure fields. While fading out of contention on soft ground in those runs, he has not been completely uncompetitive. He is now 5lb below his last winning rating, that win coming almost exactly a year ago. Spring ground and another crack at fences could combine to see him challenge again.
