Albany Stakes
- ALL of the last 10 winners won last time out
- 9 of the last 10 winners were unbeaten
- 8 of the last 10 winners were NOT the favourite
- 7 of the last 10 winners were drawn in stall 13-17 (last 3 weren’t, 2-4-8)
“Will have won last time out and should be unbeaten, typically drawn in stalls 13-17 however the last 3 were drawn 2,4 and 8 so treat with caution”
Commonwealth Cup (introduced in 2015)
- 7 of the last 9 winners were single-figure priced
- 7 of the last 9 winners were drawn stall 8 or lower
- 7 of the last 9 winners were rated 113+
- 7 of the last 9 winners had a group win
- 7 of the last 9 winners had a run that season (5 had won)
“Likely to be a single-figure price and preferably drawn no higher than stall 8, should be rated 113+, should have won a group race and likely to have run this season”
Duke of Edinburgh Stakes
- 9 of the last 10 winners were 4yo or 5yo
- 9 of the last 10 winners were drawn in stall 12 or higher (last year stall 9)
- 8 of the last 10 winners were rated 97-104
- 8 of the last 10 winners had run that season
- 8 of the last 10 winners were single-figure priced (5 favourites)
- 6 of the last 10 winners carried 9-2 to 9-4
“Look for 4 and 5yos, drawn in stall 12 or higher, ideally rated 97-104, have run this season, single-figure priced and preference to those carrying 9-2 to 9-4”
Coronation Stakes
- 9 of the last 10 winners were priced 11/2 or shorter
- 9 of the last 10 winners had been beaten that season or did not run (2 did not run)
- 8 of the last 10 winners were in the first three in the betting
- 8 of the last 10 winners had an OR of 110+
“Priced 11/2 or shorter and ideally in the first three in the betting, has an OR of 110+ and has either been beaten or has yet to run this season”
Sandringham Handicap
- 9 of the last 10 winners had raced that season
- 8 of the last 10 winners had raced at 1 mile
- 7 of the last 10 winners had raced more than once that season
- 7 of the last 10 winners had won that season
- 7 of the last 10 winners were first or second favourite
“Will have run this season and preferably more than once, will have won this season, will have raced over 1 mile and look towards the first two in the betting”
King Edward VII Stakes
- 9 of the last 10 winners had an OR of 103+ (all of the last 9)
- 9 of the last 10 winners had been beaten that season
- 8 of the last 10 winners did NOT win last time out
- 7 of the last 10 winners came from the first 3 in the market
“Will have and OR of 103+, probably has been beaten this season and most likely last time out, look towards the first three in the betting”
Palace Of Holyroodhouse Stakes (introduced in 2020)
- 3 of the last 4 winners had 3 or 4 runs that season
- 3 or the last 4 winners carried 8-8 to 9-1
- 3 of the last 4 winners were drawn in stall 19 or higher
- 2 of the last 4 winners were first or second favourite
“Race was introduced in 2020 but of the 4 renewals we’ve had; likely had 3 or 4 runs this season, carrying 8-8 to 9-1 and drawn in stall 19 or higher”
