Thursday’s racing has been cut to four meetings due to the weather. Clonmel’s abandonment leaves the quartet of cards to Britain during the day.

Taunton Racing Tips (Thursday 12 February 2026)
Only six races will be run at Taunton on Thursday. The class 3 handicap at 3.25 is the feature, as one of our tips on the card runs in that contest.
1.05 Taunton – Circle Of Secrets (1pt win – 11/4)
The four-year-old Circle Of Secrets is an interesting recruit for Fergal O‘Brien in this maiden event. He does not have a flashy pedigree, nor an expensive price tag. However, he ran a decent race when fourth to the useful Minella Yoga on debut at Fairyhouse. Eight weeks later, he was an even closer fourth at Leopardstown running over 2m2f. He should therefore see out 2m well and the transfer to O’Brien’s from Emmet Mullins’ team is an interesting move. Tom Broughton takes off 5lb in a weak enough race here and his experience of stronger Irish contests could stand him in good stead.
3.25 Taunton – Constellation Walk (1pt win – 9/2)
The gradual improvement demonstrated by Constellation Walk makes him worthy of note on handicap debut. Harry Fry’s runner was uncompetitive in two bumpers and his maiden hurdle in November. That said, he ran respectively behind talented yardstick Hurricane Pat at Sandown in November in the last of those. Since then, he was sixth to Turners hope Act Of Innocence, then an even closer third at Wincanton in December. Overall, it is difficult not to see the progression he has shown from run to run. As a result, a mark of 114 could be within range for him to challenge on this handicap bow.
Leicester Racing Tips (Thursday 12 February 2026)
The highlight of Leicester’s six-race card is a class 3 novices’ handicap chase. In that race, and one other, lie our two top tips at the meeting.
2.05 Leicester – Epic West (1pt win – 15/8)
Largy Belter is gradually getting the knack of fences, while Milan Tino is talented but unreliable. As a result, this could be between Epic West and Mon Champion, both of whom ran well last time out. Epic West shades the verdict despite narrowly missing out to a hat-trick seeker at Warwick. Jamie Snowden’s charge was bouncing right back to form that day though, finishing just half-a-length behind in second. The minimum trip appears to suit, as does soft ground, so a 3lb rise looks defiable. Just three weeks on from that narrow defeat, a step up the ladder and a first handicap success is on the cards.
4.25 Leicester – Just Lucky Sivola (1pt win – 4/1)
Boasting a similar profile to last year’s winner, Just Lucky Sivola could make into a handy hunter chaser. Though he has never raced over fences, he was a talented bumper horse and novice hurdler. His efforts over timber included a win at Hereford, and third-placed efforts in competitive handicaps pitched against useful rivals by Paul Nicholls. He has since switched to Luca Morgan, whose yard won this race 12 months ago. The selection won on heavy in bumpers and is the youngest horse in the race with the greatest upside under conditions. Should he take to fences, he could prove to have too much quality.
