The latest Sunday Series event occurs at Thirsk this weekend. Along with racing from Nottingham there is plenty to enjoy on ITV to conclude the week.

Thirsk Racing Tips (Sunday 31 May)
Thirsk’s meeting is the latest in the Sunday Series. We have two tips, in the second and third contests.
4.15 Thirsk – Big Fun (1pt win – )
An April course and distance handicap may hold the key through fourth and fifth Big Fun and Dazzling Haze. The selection shades the verdict, as although the margin between them was slim, and the latter enjoys a 1lb swing at the weights, BIg Fun ran the more notable race. On the near-side rail under Oisin McSweeney, Kevin Ryan’s charge looked like fading when the race heated up. However, he stuck to his task well in a race working out excellently. The winner was only narrowly beaten at Listed level last time out and plenty have run well since. Although drawn slightly wider than ideal again, the son of Showcasing should come on for his reappearance.
4.45 Thirsk – Kinetic Force (1pt win – )
There are a few last-time-out winners running in this handicap, but Kinetic Force looks the most promising. He scored over track and trip at the start of this month. That was his third start of this campaign and after joining Ruth Carr at the beginning of the year. His form for Carr has been good, finishing a half-length fourth on return at Newcastle, then third of 17 at Musselburgh. His win therefore looked overdue and arrived despite Joanna Mason needing to switch him in running. The runner-up ran well from a bad draw at York next time and a 4lb rise might not stop Kinetic Force’s renewed form.
Nottingham Racing Tips (Sunday 31 May)
A quartet of races are live on ITV at Nottingham on Sunday. Our two tips at the track could combine for a Tim Easterby double.
4.55 Nottingham – Bearin Up (1pt win – 17/2)
Bottom-weight Bearin Up may be up in class, but she is as likely an improver as any in this field. She steadily improved as a juvenile, eventually winning her sixth start at Ripon. There was enough stamina in her pedigree for that two-year-old win to come over 1m, a distance she has mostly remained at this term. After a low-key seasonal debut, she was third upped to 1m1f at Musselburgh. Subsequently, she got off the mark for the campaign, with a strong-finishing victory on the Rowley Mile at Newmarket. She travelled well too, suggesting she has even more to offer. Going up to 1m2f looks a smart move on the eye and she can continue on the up.
5.25 Nottingham – Leadenhall (1pt win – 7/2)
Four-year-old’s dominate the betting for the concluding race at Nottingham, but it is the six-year-old Leadenhall who makes most appeal. The son of Kingman won twice last term, his best period of form coming between April and August. His form tailed off later on and he has been slower to gather stride this term. However, in two 1m starts this year, in which he has finished mid-pack, he has seen out his races well. Although there are only an extra 100 yards in this race at Nottingham, that should suit, while this is a less competitive and smaller field than the last twice. With his mark continuing to plummet, he is 6lb below his last winning rating. A revival looks very plausible here.
