Five horse racing fixtures will take place on Friday 27 March, with the action coming from Wetherby, Fontwell, Lingfield, Newcastle and Dundalk. Our GG Lucky 15 tips focus on the first two of those meetings, where we have four National Hunt tips for the day.
Wetherby Racing Tips (Friday 27 March 2026)
There are seven races at Wetherby on Friday with four hurdle races, three chases and a bumper. Here are the best bets on the card.
2.50 Wetherby – Youdecide (1pt win – 9/4)
Winless in two starts over fences, Ben Pauling’s Youdecide will look to break his duck on Friday in the 2.50pm at Wetherby. He appeared to enjoy the step up in trip last time out at Kempton when finishing fourth. He will stay at three miles for this event, and has been dropped a further 1lb by the handicapper. Lining up off 96 here, he’s one that does have the potential to improve with experience over the larger obstacles, and looks the solid one to be with.
3.50 Wetherby – Gaelic Rambler (1pt win – 7/4)
Fresh from victory at the Cheltenham Festival, Jonjo & A J O’Neill will look to remain in the winners and they can saddle Gaelic Rambler to victory in the 3.50pm contest. The Jackdaws Castle inmate put up his best effort on track last time out when second at Stratford. Looking to kick on again, the six-year-old runs off a 1lb higher mark in this event, but looks capable off 114. The consistent Zero Tolerance is a notable danger, but Gaelic Rambler certainly has more to show over fences.
Fontwell Racing Tips (Friday 27 March 2026)
It’s a 2.30pm start at Fontwell for their six-race fixture over the sticks on Friday. Check out the best two bets on the jumps card.
3.30 Fontwell – Ronnies Reflection (1pt win – 2/1)
Ben Case’s Ronnies Reflection has been knocking on the door of late with a brace of second placed finishes and a third place finish in his last three starts. Those performances came off a mark of 84 and it’s that figure he runs off in the 3.30pm at Fontwell on Friday. He finished strongly last time out, so if he can maintain on the pace through the middle part of the race then he has the potential to kick clear late on. Most of his rivals arrive out of form, but the consistent Ronnies Reflection can finally get a well deserved win.
4.30 Fontwell – Mon Champion (1pt win – 11/4)
A facile 13-length winner over course and distance two weeks ago, Mon Champion can duly oblige again at Fontwell for Paul Nicholls. Given a 6lbs rise, that shouldn’t be enough to stop him winning again. The Ditcheat inmate takes on Rip Wheeler again, who he beat that day. However, whilst Mon Champion is worse off at the weights the same result should still occur. Rip Wheeler was well beaten that day, and is going to struggle. Superstylin and Alien Storm are dangers, but Mon Champion can dominate again.
