Four horse racing fixtures take place on Tuesday 3 February, but our top tipster Andrew Mount, who landed a spectacular 22/1 winner over the weekend heads to Wolverhampton‘s all-weather fixture for his best two bets of the day.

Wolverhampton Racing Tips (Tuesday 3 February 2026)
A seven-race card kicks off at Wolverhampton at 5.30pm, but Andrew’s selections run in the 6.00pm and 8.30pm contest, as he has a brace of win picks.
4.07 Ludlow – Following Chapter (2pt win – 11/8 generally)
Following Chapter found 2m at Hereford an inadequate test of stamina when a modest 22-length fourth on his handicap hurdle debut on November 11th where it was interesting to note the market support – he went off as the 100-30 third favourite in that 12-runner line-up – after returning at 150-1, 125-1 and 40-1 in three maiden/novice hurdles. The step up to 2m3f brought improvement at Warwick on New Years’ Eve where he won by four lengths (100-30 favourite) in a race that is working out well. Fourth-placed Luwdivg, beaten by just over ten lengths, scored by four and a half lengths when 8-1 at Lingfield next time while ninth home Local Derby won with something in hand when a well-backed 4-1 poke at Wincanton. Don’t Tell Rosie, beaten by 53 lengths in last of 11 at Warwick, finished a close-up 8-1 third at Chepstow on her next outing and the form looks solid.
5.00 Newcastle – Asadjumeirah (1pt e/w – 15/2 Sky Bet, Paddy Power, 7/1 generally)
Asadjumeirah could only finish third to Yorkshire Glory over course and distance at the January 20th meeting, but the fromnt-runners weren’t coming back to the field that day with the winner making all and the runner-up described as “prominent, pressed winner over 1f out”. Antony Brittain’s runner do well in handicap company in January/February after a recent outing (19 days or less), landing 54 of their 300 starts (18% strike-rate) for a profit of £89.38 to a £1 level stake at SP (+£158.83 at Betfair SP after 2% commission).
5.30 Newcastle – Fircombe Hall (1pt e/w – 8/1 generally)
Both Spartan Fighter and Yorkshire Glory won from the front over course and distance 15 days go but early pace was strongly favoured that day thanks to the absence of any headwind and it’s possible that they could take each other on today and serve it up for a closer, even though the usual Newcastle headwind is missing again tonight. The hold-up performer to support each-way against the front two is Fircombe Hall who has placed in race won by Spartan Fighter the last twice, most recently when a best-of-the-closers 9-1 third at that January 20th meeting. He also placed behind Yorkshire Glory last month, again doing best of the closers when a 16-1 neck second, and should be finishing to good effect.
