The four-year-old has shown ability in his three starts to date, finishing a 66-1 fourth of 12 over today’s track and trip on his debut last December before filling the same position over 1m3f/1m4f at Kempton, with the middle run in a Class 3 novice behind Andrew Balding’s Caliban (winner again since and now rated 87). He fared best of his age group behind a trio of three-year-olds on his latest start and doesn’t have to improve a huge amount on the clock on his handicap debut to take a hand.
