It then picks out the horses where those signals agree. How the Hot List works
A runner needs at least two of five signals: a price at least 20% shorter across at least two tracked bookmakers; two current naps, or one from a tipster meeting the required historical record; a winning course record; trainer form over the previous 14 days; or the jockey’s record at the course. The list is ranked first by number of signals, then market move, then number of naps. It contains no more than eight runners and the thresholds are not lowered on a quiet day. Non-runners are excluded before publication.

For all she has been supported in the market, she is still an each-way price; however, given her inconsistent profile I’d be tempted to back her win only. She looks a boom-or-bust type of proposition.”
