TYGER BAY was only seventh in a 6f handicap at Kempton on January 6th but that race was run in a very fast time and the form is likely to work out, even though the fifth, Expert Agent, was only fifth again after being backed from 5-2 into 11-8 at Chelmsford last night (he blew the start and could never strike a blow on his first attempt at the minimum trip). The seven-year-old will appreciate the return to Lingfield (he’s three form eight over course and distance), was a winner at Wolverhampton on his penultimate start and should get the required strong pace to chase. His draw in stall 6 of 8 should ensure that he comes wide to challenge and avoids the ‘dead’ rail.
