The six-year-old took a big step forward on his handicap debut when a 33-1 fourth of 16 in the Asian Spice race at Exeter, a 2m contest that worked out exceptionally well. He scored narrowly at Ludlow next time and followed up at Wincanton from good yardstick Daany. That was only a 0-95 Class 5 contest, but the time was respectable, and he can complete his hat-trick.
