CHELMSFORD 5.55
CRÈME CHANTILLY – 1pt win
(2/1 Generally)
I put up Waiting All Night as an each-way bet in the Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot where he ran a blinder to finish a 150-1 fifth of 17. However, he’s been expensive to follow since and was turned over at odds of 1-5 at Catterick last time. He’s 1-1 on the all-weather but that was on Tapeta and he’s not certain to appreciate the switch to a Polytrack surface. I’m taking him on with Michael Bell’s CRÈME CHANTILLY, a 12-1 runner-up at Salisbury on her debut in August. In the past ten years Michael Bells 2yos who are having their second career outing on the all-weather are seven from 66 for a profit of £61.68 and those who were returning from a break of more than three weeks are seven from 28 for a profit of £99.68.
