8.15 Roscommon – NOSTRA CASA (1pt E/W – 7/2 generally)
NOSTRA CASA has improved since joining Paul Flynn, breaking his duck in a Sligo handicap in April (1m5f, soft/heavy) before doing second best of the closers when fourth at Ballinrobe. He again caught the eye on his third outing for his current yard at the Curragh on August 13th, doing well to grab third from off the pace after challenging wider than ideal. He clocked a good time for that effort and will be suited by tonight’s drop in class. The cut back in trip is perhaps not ideal but I still expect him to be bang there at the finish.
