OSO RAPIDO suggested that his turn was near when a 33-1 fifth of 16 at York last week and looks worth a small interest in this 6f handicap. He usually takes several runs before hitting peak fitness and this will be his sixth start of the current campaign. The six-year-old scored at the sixth time of asking in 2019, only had three runs in a blank 2020 season, won on his sixth start in 2021 and, last year, landed this very race on his seventh outing. He usually does his winning on good/faster going but today’s conditions are similar to those at York last week and he should cope well enough.
