The Summer Cup is one of Britain’s most prestigious jumps races during the summer months. Andrew’s tip at Uttoxeter runs in that very race.

The Dan Skelton-trained Riskintheground has a strong seasonal pattern to his form and has scored just once from 21 starts between October and February. However, during the warmer months (March to September) his record reads 161115134511740121 (9-18) for a profit of £23.83 to a £1 level stake at SP (expected wins = 3.27, A/E = 2.75). The latest success came on good ground in the Perth Gold Cup Handicap Chase three weeks ago and the progressive nine-year-old can defy a 4lb ratings hike by taking Uttoxeter’s Summer Cup.
