Eight races make up Doncaster’s card, with Andrew waiting for the second half of the fixture, as he opts for tips in the 4.15pm and 4.50pm races.
4.15 Doncaster – Fantasy Master (1pt win – 13/2 generally)
Fantasy Master doesn’t do a great deal in the first two-thirds of the calendar year, winning just once from 34 starts from January until August. However, his record from September to December stands at seven wins from 23 starts for a profit of £103.25 to a £1 level stake at SP (+£126.82 at Betfair SP after 2% commission, expected wins = 3.00, A/E = 2.33). He finished a close-up fourth of 18 in this race 12 months ago when trainer by Darryll Holland and runs off the same mark this afternoon. The son of Sepoy is well into the veteran stage, but he’s placed the last twice and this race looks to have been the plan.
4.50 Doncaster – Duran (1pt win – 11/2 bet365, 5/1 general)
Duran couldn’t quite get the each-way money when we were on at York last time, finishing a 25-1 seventh of 21 in a fist-time visor. That was a fine effort given that he raced away from where the action unfolded and met trouble in running. The return to a flat turf course clearly helped that day and his two previous runs over course and distance produced narrow seconds off marks of 83 and 84 – he runs off just 75 today.
Bath Racing Tips (Sunday 13 September 2026)
It’s a 2.05pm start for Bath’s eight-race card, with Andrew waiting until the 6pm contest for his best bet on the card.
6.00 Bath – Albus Anne (1pt win – 8/1 general)
Albus Anne, who is especially effective on soft or heavy going, had been given most of the summer off prior to her 18-1 sixth of eight to Maximising in a 1m Class 4 handicap at Windsor last month. The Jimmy Fox-trained seven-year-old has form figures in September/October of 237412113311 (5-12) for a profit of £9.88 to a £1 level stake at SP and, while good ground (rain forecast) is quicker than ideal, she’s still worth a punt at her favourite track.
