16:55 – Unibet Supporting Safer Gambling Novice Stakes (GBB Race) (Div I)

Race Details: 7f | Class 4 | Going: Standard to slow (Polytrack) | | flat

This looks a pretty useful novice for the grade, with several lightly-raced 3yos bringing solid enough maiden form and one older runner in Khaleejy setting the standard on bare figures. The market should revolve around Veil Of Clouds, Stormy Music and Khaleejy, while Rajiba and Kenergy have shown enough to suggest they can get involved if improving again. Kempton’s 7f on this surface often rewards a bit of tactical speed and professionalism, and that may be crucial in a field containing a few unexposed types who are still learning. Veil Of Clouds appeals as the one with the most straightforward profile after a good second last time, but this is not a penalty kick and there are a couple at bigger prices who could easily outrun their odds.

Top Selections

1. Veil Of Clouds – 3/1 with Bet365

Jockey: Billy Loughnane | Trainer: Simon & Ed Crisford | Form: 52 | Rating: 82 | Topspeed: 70

Veil Of Clouds makes plenty of appeal on what we’ve seen so far. The Crisford yard knows how to place this type and that latest second suggested the penny is starting to drop, while a Topspeed of 70 is the best figure on offer here and gives the run a bit of substance. Drawn in 4, Billy Loughnane should be able to get a smooth trip around Kempton, which is half the battle in these novice events. Khaleejy is respected and Stormy Music is clearly feared, but at 3/1 Veil Of Clouds looks the one with the cleanest blend of proven ability and likely improvement. Bet: WIN

Bet: WIN

2. Rajiba – 15/2 with Bet365

Jockey: Harry Davies | Trainer: Richard Hughes | Form: 4-2 | Rating: 81 | Topspeed: 43

Rajiba strikes me as the each-way play in the race. Richard Hughes-trained 3yos often come forward with racing and the step from a debut fourth to a runner-up finish last time is the right sort of progression for a filly still finding her level. Stall 10 is not ideal, but if Harry Davies can slot in without burning petrol early, she has the profile of one who can keep finding in the straight. She does not have the flashiest speed figure in the line-up, but she has shown enough ability to think a place is very much within reach, and 15/2 is fair for an each-way punt in a 10-runner novice.

Bet: EACH-WAY

Betting Strategy

Veil Of Clouds is the win bet, with his latest second and standout Topspeed figure making him hard to oppose in a race where professionalism could count for plenty. Rajiba is the each-way alternative at a more attractive price, especially if building again on her recent second. Khaleejy is the obvious danger on ratings, while Stormy Music is the one to fear most if the Balding colt takes a sharp step forward.

17:33 – Unibet Supporting Safer Gambling Novice Stakes (GBB Race) (Div II)

Race Details: 7f | Class 4 | Going: Standard to slow (Polytrack) | | flat

This looks a fairly ordinary novice on paper, but there are still a couple with the profile to make it useful. Gold Star Gazing brings the strongest established form, having hit the frame on all three starts, while Korbut has race fitness and a solid level already in the book after four runs. One of The Boys is interesting on his return after shaping with promise when second, and Le Samourai is the obvious potential improver for Ralph Beckett despite a quiet debut. The rest need sizeable steps forward on what they’ve shown so far. In truth, this feels more about which of the principals progresses rather than a deep puzzle, and the market has probably latched onto the right quartet.

Top Selections

1. Gold Star Gazing – 6/4 with Paddy Power

Jockey: Daniel Muscutt | Trainer: James Fanshawe | Form: 33-3 | Rating: 83 | Topspeed: 51

Gold Star Gazing sets the standard and, in a race lacking depth, that counts for plenty. He has finished third on all three starts, which can make a horse look a little exposed, but that misses the key point: his level of form is comfortably the best on offer here. An 83 rating is a fair marker in this company, and the return run this season suggested he remains on the right track. Fanshawe’s runners often learn with racing rather than being fully wound up first time, so there is room for a little more. At 6/4 he is no giveaway, but he is still the one they all have to beat. Bet: WIN

Bet: WIN

2. One of The Boys – 5/1 with Bet365

Jockey: Billy Loughnane | Trainer: Michael Bell | Form: 2- | Rating: 73 | Topspeed: 68

If you want something at a more workable price, One of The Boys makes plenty of each-way appeal. He was only seen once as a juvenile but did enough when runner-up to suggest he has a race in him, and that Topspeed figure of 68 jumps off the page in the context of this field. Michael Bell can ready one after a break, while Billy Loughnane is exactly the sort of rider you want in a tactical 7f novice around Kempton. He does have to prove he has trained on from two to three, but 5/1 looks fair enough given several of these have already shown their limitations. Bet: EACH-WAY

Bet: EACH-WAY

Betting Strategy

Gold Star Gazing is the percentage call and makes most appeal as the win bet, simply because his form is the most solid in the line-up. For an each-way punt, One of The Boys looks the value if returning in the same shape. Korbut is the obvious danger on racecourse evidence, while Le Samourai is the one who could improve sharply from a low-key debut.

18:03 – Bet £20 Get £20 With Unibet Nursery Handicap

Race Details: 7f | Class 5 | Going: Standard to slow (Polytrack) | | flat

This looks a fairly typical early-season nursery: lightly raced juveniles, not much between them on bare form, and plenty of scope for one or two to improve sharply now handicapping over 7f. Indian Land is the obvious one after getting off the mark last time and he comes from a yard that does well with this type, but he is short enough for a colt going into a handicap for the first time. Time Saxon Warrior has been knocking on the door and sets a solid standard from a handy draw, while Rhodes Runner is another with the right profile for better to come. Bayside is interesting dropped into this grade despite a lofty mark, but overall this is more a tricky little puzzle than a strong race.

Top Selections

1. Time Saxon Warrior – 11/4 with Bet365

Jockey: Billy Loughnane | Trainer: Richard Hughes | Form: 432 | Rating: 77 | Topspeed:

He makes plenty of appeal as the one with the most dependable profile. Those three runs have all been perfectly respectable, and the latest second suggests a nursery like this should be within reach. An opening mark of 77 asks a question, but not an impossible one, and stall 2 is a plus around Kempton if Billy Loughnane can get him travelling in a good rhythm. Hughes’ juveniles often progress with racing rather than showing everything at once, and this colt looks exactly that type. At 11/4 he is no giveaway, but he brings the safest blend of form, draw and likely improvement. Bet: WIN

2. Rhodes Runner – 7/2 with Bet365

Jockey: James Doyle | Trainer: Ralph Beckett | Form: 43 | Rating: 72 | Topspeed:

Rhodes Runner looks the value angle against the more obvious pair. He has only had two starts, shaped with promise on both occasions, and an opening mark of 72 could underestimate him if he takes the expected step forward now going handicapping. James Doyle is an eye-catching booking and Beckett is not one to waste runners in these juvenile handicaps. The wide draw in 8 is not ideal over this trip, but in a small field it should not be fatal if Doyle can slot in early. Available at 7/2, he strikes me as the one most likely to improve past his mark and outrun the market. Bet: EACH-WAY

Betting Strategy

Time Saxon Warrior is the win play because he has the most solid form in the book and looks sure to give his running. Rhodes Runner is the each-way punt in an eight-runner field, with his opening mark of 72 offering some room to manoeuvre if he improves as expected. Indian Land is the obvious danger after his win, while Bayside is not entirely dismissed if bouncing back in easier company.

18:33 – Unibet More Extra Place Races Handicap (London Mile Series Qualifier) (Div I)

Race Details: 1m | Class 4 | Going: Standard to slow (Polytrack) | | flat

This looks a proper London Mile heat rather than a weak division, with several arriving in form and a few lurking on dangerous marks. Maximising is the obvious starting point after a solid second and his Topspeed figure sets the standard in this field, while Blue Prince comes here on the back of a win and still looks fairly treated if building on that. Zabeel Alkabeir is more lightly raced than most and open to progress after a productive 2025, whereas Grizedale has enough back form to get involved if bouncing back from a lesser reappearance. It is the sort of race where draw and track position will matter, but equally one where recent sharpness could be decisive. Competitive, but not impossible to solve.

Top Selections

1. Maximising – 9/4 with Betfair

Jockey: Daniel Muscutt | Trainer: Kevin Philippart De Foy | Form: 5-1482 | Rating: 99 | Topspeed: 86

Maximising makes plenty of appeal in a race where current wellbeing counts for a lot. He arrives off the back of a runner-up effort, his form figures are solid for this grade, and that Topspeed mark of 86 is the best on offer here. The low draw in stall 2 should also help around Kempton’s mile, allowing Muscutt to hold a handy position without wasting ground. He is not thrown in off 99, but he has been keeping better company than some of these and looks the one with the fewest questions to answer. At 9/4, he is short enough, but still the most likely winner.

Bet: WIN

2. Zabeel Alkabeir – 9/2 with Bet365

Jockey: James Doyle | Trainer: James Tate | Form: 101- | Rating: 93 | Topspeed: 42

Zabeel Alkabeir is the interesting each-way angle because there may be more to come from him than his mark suggests. He signed off last year with a win in just his third completed start and, unlike many exposed handicap regulars in here, he is still entitled to improve as a 4yo. James Tate does well with this type on the all-weather and the booking of James Doyle catches the eye in a race full of hardened mile handicappers. The widest draw is not ideal, so he may need a clever ride, but 9/2 looks fair for a horse with upside in a contest where several rivals are already fully exposed.

Bet: EACH-WAY

Betting Strategy

Maximising is the win bet because he brings the strongest recent profile, the best Topspeed number and a useful low draw. For an each-way punt, Zabeel Alkabeir makes more appeal than the obvious exposed types, as he still has scope to progress from a workable mark. Blue Prince is the danger after getting his head back in front, while Grizedale is capable of better than he showed on his return.

19:08 – Unibet More Extra Place Races Handicap (London Mile Series Qualifier) (Div II)

Race Details: 1m | Class 4 | Going: Standard to slow (Polytrack) | | flat

This looks a competitive London Mile qualifier rather than a deep one, and there are a few exposed older handicappers taking on a couple who may still have a bit more to offer. Zatsgood is the obvious starting point on figures after winning before finding things tougher last time, while Billy Mill arrives in terrific nick and has been knocking hard on the door from a much lower weight. Breakdancer has been threatening to win one of these without quite getting it done, and The Liffey comes here chasing a fourth win from his last five starts, so there is no shortage of recent form. Kempton mile handicaps often come down to track position and a well-timed finish, and this does feel a slightly tricky puzzle despite the market having latched on to the right pair.

Top Selections

1. Billy Mill – 11/2 with Bet365

Jockey: Kieren Fox | Trainer: Rod Millman | Form: 663222 | Rating: 98 | Topspeed: 87

Billy Mill is the one who makes the most appeal at the prices. He has been a model of consistency lately, finishing runner-up on his last three starts, and that latest form suggests he is still very much on the boil rather than going through the motions as an older handicapper. A mark of 98 is workable judged on his topspeed figure of 87, and carrying just 120 could be a major asset in a race where several of the principals are lumping more weight. He is not especially well hidden now, but 11/2 still looks fair given his recent reliability and the likelihood of another honest pace to run at. Bet: WIN

Bet: WIN

2. The Liffey – 7/1 with Bet365

Jockey: Luke Morris | Trainer: Hayley Burton | Form: 661151 | Rating: 94 | Topspeed: 61

The Liffey is hard to dismiss for each-way purposes because he keeps finding a way to win races, with three victories from his last five starts telling its own story. Drawn in stall 1, he should get a handy trip around here, and Luke Morris is usually very effective when able to boss these all-weather handicaps from the front or sit prominently. This is a bit stronger than some of the races he has been contesting, so there is a fair question about whether the winning run can continue, but a rating of 94 does not look beyond him given his current momentum. At 7/1, he looks the solid each-way punt in the field. Bet: EACH-WAY

Bet: EACH-WAY

Betting Strategy

Billy Mill is the win play because he is in the right form groove and looks attractively treated off a feather weight. The Liffey is the each-way option, with his recent strike-rate and inside draw making him very easy to like for a place at least. Zatsgood is the obvious danger on raw ability, while Breakdancer is another with solid claims if things fall right.

19:43 – Unibet 40,000+ Live Streamed Events Handicap (GBBPlus Race)

Race Details: 1m 3f | Class 3 | Going: Standard to slow (Polytrack) | | flat

This is a tight little seven-runner handicap with plenty of the market focused on the right trio, but it is not quite as straightforward as the prices suggest. Master Vintner arrives off a solid return to form and has the profile of one still going the right way, while Bulletin has been knocking on the door and should be well suited by Kempton from stall 1. Tripoli Flyer is the unexposed one in this sphere after just three runs this season and is clearly respected near the head of the betting despite carrying only 8st 5lb. Yaa Min is another who makes some appeal off a light weight. It looks a competitive Class 3 rather than a deep one, and tactical positioning could prove decisive.

Top Selections

1. Master Vintner – 3/1 with Bet365

Jockey: Rossa Ryan | Trainer: Ralph Beckett | Form: 110-72 | Rating: 103 | Topspeed: 84

Master Vintner gets the nod because he still looks the most likely improver in the field and his last two runs suggest he is coming to the boil again. He won twice last season, returned with a fair seventh and then shaped much better when runner-up last time, which reads well in a race like this. An opening mark in the low 100s has not stopped him being competitive and Beckett’s runners at this sort of trip usually know their job. Rossa Ryan is a notable booking around Kempton and 3/1 feels perfectly fair rather than cramped in a race lacking many convincing upward movers. Bet: WIN

Bet: WIN

2. Yaa Min – 9/1 with Bet365

Jockey: Billy Loughnane | Trainer: Hayley Burton | Form: 164163 | Rating: 100 | Topspeed: 89

Yaa Min makes plenty of each-way appeal at 9/1 because he comes here in consistent nick and does not have much to find on the figures. His recent form is honest, he posted the best Topspeed number in the line-up, and the 8st 12lb could be a real asset if this turns tactical before lifting late. Billy Loughnane is the kind of rider you want on a horse travelling off the pace at Kempton and this one looks likely to get a smooth trip from stall 4. He is not bombproof, but in a seven-runner race where several are short enough, he looks the value each-way punt. Bet: EACH-WAY

Bet: EACH-WAY

Betting Strategy

Master Vintner is the main play and looks the soundest win bet given his progressive profile and solid latest second. For an each-way alternative, Yaa Min appeals on weight and current consistency, especially at 9/1. Bulletin is the obvious danger from a good draw, while Tripoli Flyer is respected if the market confidence proves justified.

20:17 – Try Unibet’s New Improved Acca Boosts Handicap (London Sprint Series Qualifier)

Race Details: 6f | Class 5 | Going: Standard to slow (Polytrack) | | flat

This looks a typically tight 3yo Kempton sprint, the sort where plenty arrive with something to prove and not many can be trusted completely. Night Shining, Concert and Trinculo head the market after solid recent efforts, while Perfect Location comes here off a win and is entitled to respect despite a wide stall. The Lost Sock is better than his latest run and has the raw figures to get involved if bouncing back. Draw could matter with a few pace angles spread across the track, and in a race lacking an obvious standout, it may come down to who gets the smoothest trip rather than pure ability. Tricky enough, but not impossible, and there should be some each-way value lurking behind the obvious ones.

Top Selections

1. Trinculo – 5/1 with Bet365

Jockey: Neil Callan | Trainer: George Baker | Form: 8-33 | Rating: 77 | Topspeed: 69

Trinculo appeals most in a race where a few of the principals are short enough for what they’ve actually achieved. He has shaped well on both starts this season, finishing third twice, and there was enough in those efforts to suggest a race like this is well within range. The low draw in 2 looks a plus around Kempton, and Neil Callan is the type you want in a 6f handicap where track position matters. He doesn’t look fully exposed yet, and off 77 he still has room to step forward. Available at 5/1, he makes plenty of appeal as the solid win play.

Bet: WIN

2. The Lost Sock – 8/1 with Paddy Power

Jockey: Ray Dawson | Trainer: Roger Varian | Form: -83076 | Rating: 82 | Topspeed: 84

The Lost Sock is not the easiest horse to catch right, but he’s very interesting at the prices because his better efforts stack up strongly in this company. That Topspeed figure of 84 jumps off the page in a Class 5, and this is a notable ease in grade compared with some of the races he’s been contesting. His recent form looks a bit untidy, but Roger Varian’s runners can bounce back quickly when conditions fall right, and a return to this level could easily spark him up. At 8/1 he looks the value each-way play, especially with four places on offer in a 12-runner field.

Bet: EACH-WAY

Betting Strategy

Trinculo is the percentage call and makes most appeal as the win bet given his consistency, draw and scope for a bit more progress. The Lost Sock is the each-way alternative at a bigger price, with the class drop and strong Topspeed figure making him dangerous if reviving. Main dangers are Night Shining, who has been knocking on the door, and Concert, who is weighted to be very competitive.

20:53 – Try Unibet’s New Smartview Racecards Handicap (London Sprint Series Qualifier)

Race Details: 6f | Class 5 | Going: Standard to slow (Polytrack) | | flat

This is a competitive little 6f handicap to close the card and it doesn’t look a race to get carried away in, with plenty arriving here exposed but a few in decent enough nick. Initial Blue, Brazen Idol and Serenity Dream dominate the betting for obvious reasons, all bringing solid enough recent form to a race that may not take much winning. Invincible Speed is another with a decent draw and a profile that suggests he can be involved if things fall right, while Travel Agent is not without a squeak from stall 2. The low numbers could be handy if the pace holds up, but overall this feels more tricky puzzle than strong race, and value may lie in siding with one who still has a bit of upside.

Top Selections

1. Initial Blue – 4/1 with Bet365

Jockey: Rossa Ryan | Trainer: Dr Richard Newland & Jamie Insole | Form: 331723 | Rating: 82 | Topspeed: 75

Initial Blue makes plenty of appeal in a race where not many are crying out to be backed at short odds. He has been holding his form well, with that 331723 sequence suggesting he is running to a solid level more often than not, and his Topspeed figure of 75 is right up there in this field. Stall 5 is perfectly workable at Kempton and Rossa Ryan is the sort you want in a tight sprint like this, especially on a horse who looks straightforward enough. At 4/1 he is hardly missed, but he is one of the few in here arriving with consistent recent form and still looking well enough treated to go in. Bet: WIN

Invincible Speed looks the each-way value from the inside draw, and that could be a big asset if he breaks on terms and gets into a good rhythm early. His recent form has been respectable without quite getting his head in front, but figures of 144425 tell you he has been knocking on the door in similar company. He is not obviously ahead of the handicapper, yet he is reliable enough for this grade and doesn’t need to improve much to hit the frame again. The 8/1 on offer with four places looks fair in a race full of exposed sprinters, and he appeals more than some of the shorter ones as a solid each-way punt. Bet: EACH-WAY

Bet: EACH-WAY

Betting Strategy

Initial Blue is the win play in a race lacking standout quality, as his recent consistency and solid speed figure give him strong claims. For an each-way option, Invincible Speed makes plenty of sense from stall 1 at 8/1 with four places on offer. The obvious dangers are Serenity Dream, who is respected in the market, and Brazen Idol, who arrives off a good second.
